There are several options to choose from when deciding on one of these phone umbrellas, but I went with the magnetic one. It’s more expensive, but I think the quality is worth it. The “neck” also bends on this one, and most of the ones I saw that just had a suction cup did not bend. My phone has a built-in magnet, so I used the included magnet on my kindle because I also love to read while at the pool/beach, and it’s impossible with the sun being so bright (I have the kindle fire 8). The magnet on this umbrella shade is strong! It adheres to my phone and doesn’t budge. The added bonus of being able to bend the umbrella to where you need it is a must, imo. I also love that it comes with a little strap to secure the umbrella when it’s closed. The umbrella itself seems sturdy and the material is thick. This is made of metal and hard plastic, which, compared to the other options out there, means it’s much more durable. Highly recommend! Note/tip: I read another review that stated the included stick-on magnet wasn’t useful because when they removed the umbrella, it tore the magnet off. If you gently SLIDE it off instead of pulling it up/out and off, this should help the stick-on magnet stay put. ... show more

The umbrella may look a little silly, but this is one of the best purchases I’ve gotten. It really does help with keeping the phone shaded so it doesn’t overheat in the summer, and I can actually see the screen.

I bought this product before going on vacation to the beach. It worked nicely. The magnetic circle is not super strong but worked well enough with no problems. The ring attachment was nice to use to hold and prop my phone up. The bendable arm was really nice, it made placing the umbrella in the best possible position easy. This was one of the better finds I've found on Facebook. I use this almost everyday when I'm outside. Good quality, good price and really works!! The movable stand is great and can be adjusted to move with the sun. If you're going to the beach or hang out often at the pool, this is a must have!!!

My umbrella came with a magnetic ring. At first I was happy because the umbrella itself did not hold to my phone hard enough for it to stay in place I put the sticky magnetic ring on the back of my phone case and tada the umbrella stayed put. But then.....trying to get this product off the magnetic ring only ripped off the magnet entirely now it won't stick back on. So now the product is once again useless. It's ashame because the concept is great? But they need to find a better way to make it stay on the phone ... show more

Listen, I would never ever spend money on something like this but I LOVE THIS PHONE-BRELLA! I use it daily at our neighborhood pool and everyone stops me to find out where I got it from. I wouldn’t recommend the magnet that comes with it. I used a different magnet but it works perfectly! I loved it so much I ordered my sister one! 😂 she loves it! I bought this to use during the sunny part of the day in Las Vegas; however, as I used the product the small umbrella continually came off and fell to the ground as the day went on. There was a small breeze. There is a screw on the umbrella, but nothing to screw into. Maybe its a defect.
