I’ve had this for a few months now, replacing my old PopSocket. A few thoughts: PROS: doesn’t stick out of the case like a PopSocket, sticks well to the case, does exactly what it advertised. NEUTRAL: the strap itself doesn’t stretch, which means it doesn’t lose elasticity. At the same time, I sometimes wish I could either make it tighter or for it to be elastic. Sometimes I use both hands and fit 7 fingers in the strap, other times just one hand and use only 3, and I have to spread my hand so wide for it not to fall loose. CONS: starting to show signs of wear and tear: you can see in my image that there are white strands starting to fray. It also starts to warp my case, where it pulls on the bottom right corner (see second photo). Overall, the fact that it’s so thin and doesn’t catch on my pocket (like a PopSocket) is so much more worth it than a PopSocket. Only minor cons! ... show more

The make up of this is so incredibly simple, its almost a crime. It's ingenious. They are sleek, soft to the touch and comfortable on my hand. It doesn't impede on the look on my Goggle Pixel 6 Pro's case. One of my biggest gripes with other flat holders was the blocking of the case design's that I paid good money to get in the first place. This does not. So a couple weeks in, this holder is still going strong. I am actually on my way to purchase another, for another case. My only wish would be for a personalization of these. That could be accomplished with a nice white polyester and simple sublimation. OR a plain white poly material, and I could do it myself. Wink wink. ... show more

The adhesion is REALLY sturdy, and bc of that (with the Apple iPhone cases especially & their almost suede fabric on the inside) you cannot move it & re-place it more than 1-2x before it loses that adhesive. So plan carefully where you want to put it so that it doesn’t cover the speakers or the charge input. I wasn’t as careful with mine and placed the bottom in the center, like an idiot. 😂 when I put the case back on the phone I realized it covered the charge area & I had no choice but to try & move it. I didn’t get it very far but at least it doesn’t block the charge now. It did go all the way across the vertical height of my iPhone 12 Pro Max case, but I didn’t love the diagonal look (going kind of sideways from the left of the charge port to the top) so I looped it through the camera hole instead which also gave the ribbon more give & allows me to put 4 fingers through it. The ribbon is NOT really stretchy, at all. It’s like a thick hair ribbon or craft ribbon. So make sure you figure out how much space/room you will tend to want in the opening before you stick it down. I also wouldn’t suggest getting too close to the corners as it doesn’t bend well enough and the phone pops out of the case just a little, periodically, even where mine is (over the bottom left speaker to the left of the charge port). *Shown in the photos* The good news here is that the phone doesn’t pop all the way out of the case bc of this, but that corner protects the phone a couple millimeters less than the other corners where the ribbon isn’t near them. One downside I hadn’t considered is that with it installed vertically, turning my phone & using it sideways/horizontally is more awkward than holding it vertically in some instances. So it took some getting used to. Overall I actually really like it, aside from me not choosing a spot on the bottom more carefully when I stuck it down to the inside of the case. I’ve had it about a week now. The two things I always disliked about the Popsockets is that the phone didn’t lay flat on a table & it can with this, and 2) the Popsocket couldn’t hold the weight of the Plus or Max sized iPhones in the “stand” position, and my fingers would cramp up using the popsocket grip for too long. The ribbon is more comfortable, and it goes in my pocket or purse easier, but there’s still no stand option. Some give & take, but ultimately this is probably exactly what you expect it to be.     • Works as expected, but not my favorite

First off, I may have missed it in the descriptions, but I expected this to have some elasticity to it. It didn't. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Installation issues: - You have to run the loop through the camera hole and one of the speaker holes. On some cases, the speaker hole on the right will be longer than the one on the left to match the holes on the phone. If so, the loop is too big to run through the smaller hole so you will have to run it through the hole on the right. This might make a difference if you are right or left-handed and where you want the loop in position with your hand. - Once you have one side stuck on and it looped though, the directions say something to the extent to put your hand through the loop like you would hold your phone, pull the loop tight, then stick the other side down. So that's what I did! However, the issue with this is once you stick your phone in the case it pushes down on the loop A LOT causing more tension in the loop. Luckily, I had a MagSafe wallet attached when I attached the loop so I was able to remove the wallet when I wanted to use the loop. I love that this is super flat and doesn't get in the way of using any MagSafe accessories. However, since it loops through one of the speaker holes, my case wouldn't fit properly around my phone in that area. After a week or so I also noticed it stretching around the areas it was coming out of the case. This may have to do with it being so tight and me trying to use it with the wallet attached. After a couple of days, I ended up taking it off. It didn't leave any residue on the inside of my case. It may work better with other cases or other phone models. Great potential!
