The media could not be loaded. I used this for a desert tortoise shelter. I dug down about 6 inches so I could fill the bottom with dirt to allow tortoise to dig a little bit. It also keeps it cooler in the summer inside with dirt up around the outside. I would have preferred one a little larger but didn’t want to go up to next size as it was to large. The door opening is approx. 12” and he fits through it fine, may have to widen it in 5 or so years.     • Excellent for chickens to dust bathe in!
I needed a covered pan for the chickens to have a dust bath in their open run. They LOVE it! It was a good price for the size. Haven’t had it long enough to clean out yet but it looks like it will clean up easily with a hose and brush.

    • Just snaps into place!
I thought it had to be secured with screws lol so id submitted a return thinking it was missing stuff lmao. But my bf came home and just snapped it into place. So far so good for my sweet pup, Petunia.

I have a medium size dog, just like the one the ad shows. When I saw how small it was, I knew my girl would never be comfy because she had no room to move, especially when it rains and I have to put her food bowl inside the house with her. This house is more for a small dog, NOT a medium dog. It did look very sturdy and durable. I like the lip on the roof because it helps shield dogs from the rain.
