The outstanding craftsmanship of Real Fyre captures traditional quality with the natural realism of the 18-inch Live Oak log set. Gas fireplace logs are convenient and easy to use for most gas fireplaces. The hand painted details are modeled from real world samples, and the high definition bark enhances the natural wood look. The logs are crafted from superior refractory ceramics which provide radiant heat even after the burner has been turned off. Each log has a steel rod insert for maximum reinforcement, and the vented design means they burn efficiently to reduce pollution and protect natural resources. Set Includes: 6 Gas Logs, Sand, Embers, and Burner. The burner has a single burner pipe that allows the flames to dance through the center of your log set and has a BTU output of 39,000 BTUs. Seriously. I researched for a few months looking for the best burner and log set. We have two fireplaces and when we purchased our home two years ago, the existing burner and log sets were crappy. The burners were old and barely off flames and the logs were very light like Styrofoam. After reading reviews and looking at pics I decided to move forward and purchase two of these sets. I couldn't be more pleased. When I went to grab the boxes off of my front porch I almost pulled my back out. This set is well made and the logs are HEAVY. They're like rocks and continue to put off heat long after you cut the burner off, which is exactly what I've been looking for. The set includes more than enough sand and embers. I only had to open one bag of each and that got me through installed both sets. So I still have a full bag of sand and embers to use in the future. My only suggestion is don't purchase the connector set and pick up the pieces from home depot yourself. I purchased the connector from this seller but my gas line is on the left side of my fireplace and the connector line wasn't long enough to run it around the back of the logs and connect. Home depot had exactly what I needed to get the job done. Other than that, installation was easy. The most difficult part for me was setting the logs up to look nice but my wife took care of that quickly. The logs look great and the sand/embers make this amazing. I can't walk by the fireplace without remarking about how happy I am with the purchase. We are now ready to host Christmas lol ... show more

I purchased this item on the premise that it was 75k BTU. I just received it and in the owners manual AND directly on the burner it indicates it’s only 39K!!! Talk about LYING to the consumer! This was more expensive than the 50k BTU set that we were comparing it with. So not only do we not get the heat expected, we get to pay more for less. ... show more

I received this Log Set with Burner and Gas Connection Kit a couple of months ago, but just installed it recently. I am very glad that there were no issues. The only thing that was not included was some yellow gas rated tape for the pipe threads. Other than a quick trip to Lowes, it went fairly smooth. The instructions were not really specific, but good enough to help figure out how to complete the installation. The gas connector was perfect, as was the burner. I had used some heat rated black spray paint for the two sides and back wall of my fireplace (don't spray the floor), and man what a nice contrast that allows the fire to stand out. For the price, this is a great deal. Note: The Fireplace Screen depicted in the photos is also an item sold on Amazon (Small Crest Fireplace Screen with Doors, Solid Wrought Iron Frame with Metal Mesh, Decorative Scroll Design, Free Standing Spark Guard 38 W x 31 H x 13 D, Black Finish). The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent product. I made my choice on this set based a lot on the reviews. I’m glad I did buy this set! Very easy to follow installation instructions. I bought a bag of lava rock from Lowe’s garden center for $4.00 about a 20-25lb bag. Used this to fill in around burner pan and fireplace floor. The lava rock was small size, pefect. Buy the lava that is outside in garden center not inside store. It’s $6.00 a bag for just a small size bag inside. Highly recommend this fireplace gas log set. No problem with broken logs or missing parts. ... show more

I received the log set as a gift for Christmas and I couldn't be happier with them! The logs are extremely realistic. Of course, unlike real logs, there is no work at all to keep the fire going, and I don't wake up to the feeling that my lungs are bleeding. I am very happy with the fireplace log. My installer added a remote control feature and I love it. He also installed a guard by the pilot light and a clamp on the flue so that it never closes completely. The flue still has to be open when actually using the fire but the clamp keeps the flue open in case of any gas fumes accidently escaping. I really recommend a professional installer. I contacted several non-pro installers and the guy I got installed gas fireplaces for a living. I'm really pleased with the fire log. Makes a pretty fire. ... show more

My fireplace measures 30" front, 20" back, and 16" deep. I got the 18" and that was the right size. One of the suppliers and reviewers recommended the 18" and they were right any thing bigger would have been to much. The only thing I added was the Real Fyre 10# Lava-Fyre Coals for the front and sides and it looks great! ... show more

We had a gas log installer come in to install correctly. It took about an hour for him to install and what took longer was for him to unscrew the tight gas top in our fireplace in Oder to install the set. Installing the gas log set took him about 20 minutes. It is absolutely beautiful and was so affordable. The installer was happy we got this one that you light up rather than remote ones which aren’t always centered when installed and are more likely to fail. He recommended we add lava rocks for decoration, which we will do. ... show more
