Didn’t really work for fleas

This is a great product that I have been using for years on my dogs. It works within about an hour and last 24-48 hours. It is a small pill and easy to feed your dog with some cheese or some kind of snack. It seems to be tasteless to the animal, and works very quickly. Fleas will just start to die and fall off of the animal soon after ingestion. It has no side effects that I have seen, it only seems to has positive effects. There is no smell to the tablets they are completely oderless as far as I can tell. I highly recommend these if your dog has a flea problems as a first resort then getting a Seresto flea and tick collar which is a hidden gem of a flea collar. It works within just a day or so and then protects the animal for 8 months. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny as they have no smell and no greasy feel and have protected my pet that was continually getting fleas from our front yard. I highly highly recommend looking into a Seresto flea collar as a secondary or even a primary defense against fleas as they stopped all flea activity on my dog as well as my friends dogs that live outside in Mexico where fleas are extremely bad. Just a bit of extra advice to look into as a great health investment for your pet. However it's noteworthy to mention these pills are a excellent first line of defense for ridding pest from your pet in a single day, they just need a collar if you have continued infestations on your animals. Whenever those pesky fleas come into our house this is our second line of attack (first being the monthly dose). As much as they hate taking meds this is easy to administer and seems to work by the end of day. A note before the rest: this product is JUST to kill fleas currently hatched and roaming around on your dog. It does NOT kill eggs. It does NOT continue to kill after the initial effects wear off. It will, however, kill every single flea on your dog during its effective period. You will need to clear your environment of fleas as well. If you have an outside dog, or one you bring into your yard to do its business, you'll need to treat your yard. These tablets are safe to use every single day with your dog. I don't know how it's possible, but I've given it to my dog 3 days in a row with zero side effects. It also doesn't interact with any other medication at all. I noticed a lot of the complaints about this product but people didn't give it daily to their dogs. It is not intended as a one time use. Fleas are very tough little critters and it can take months to get rid of them completely. My poor Jazzy Dog was infested with fleas and acting really crazy unlike his usual for a mature 8 year old Aussie. I found this flea medicine here and gave him one a day. This worked within a day and the itching stopped. I started putting it into his food daily until he could see the vet. I had never had a dog with fleas before particularly a very hairy Australian Shepherd but I figured out that fleas were the problem by looking online. Since the little critters are hard to see and my dog wouldn't hold still, I read about rubbing your dog with a paper towel underneath. If he has Fleas there would be little black specks on the towel. When you wet the towel, the spots will turn red, dried blood I assume. This worked for me by rubbing under his chin and neck with a paper towel on the floor underneath his head. Got these for our pups when they got fleas but we couldn't get them into the vet soon enough to get prescription flea meds. I think these helped to an extent but the dogs still had plenty of fleas on them even after taking these a few days in a row. These are also only effective for 24hrs so not a long term solution- more of a supplemental. Id say these are a good option in a pinch but definitely won't solve your flea problem.     • usually takes 2 doses to treat fleas

this works well to kill an active issue on my dogs but does take 2 doses, after the 2 doses the issue is usually resolved for a good amount of time. This does not do anything to prevent further infestation, I believe they have a seperate product for that
