These are authentic and made in Italy. The style is similar to Ray-Bans wayfarer sunglasses without being oversized. Both are owned by Luxottica like most brands but Ray-Ban chose the make their glasses in China so Persols make a good alternative. The frames are sturdy and well constructed. The lenses are polarized and have a good measure of tint. I typically get Maui Jim’s or Ray Bans at Costco which keeps their sunglasses Under $100 but I was happy to pay $140 for a pair of handcrafted Persols that were made in Italy and have a timeless and classic style. ... show more

I like these so much that every time I destroy or lose a pair, I keep ordering this same style. The lens clarity and color are very pleasing, maybe not the very best but, for the price, really good. They can get scratched up but I've never broken a lens. They are a little heavy and probably more suitable for men, but easy to size correctly if close to fitting before adjustments are made. Good for driving or walking around in bright sunlight. Case is gigantic so I don't use it. Comes with a nice microfiber cloth. Classic enough style that they can't be pegged to a certain year or trend the way a lot of my other sunglasses could be. ... show more

I had been wanting to have some Persol PO2803 Sunglasses ever since I saw a certain famous someone wearing them in an Italian film, although no one will ever accuse me of bearing any resemblance with or without the Persols. I had prescription lenses put in my pair of Persol frames and could not be happier. They look and fit great. These frames are offered by a wide range of sellers via Amazon. Although some reviewers have complained that they thought they had received what they considered to be bogus knock off Persol frames, from whatever seller they had made the buy from, the frames that I received from a third party seller via Amazon were absolutely genuine Persol product with Persol case and so forth. Being a huge fan of Bruce Campbell I recently started rewatching Burn Notice, thanks to Prime, and I noticed Bruce wearing these sunglasses so I had to get a pair for myself and I love them. I did not expect to wear these every day since I have a pair of wayfarers that fit my face perfectly. These are polarized and beautifully block the sun and come with a great sturdy case with an awesome, oversized cleaning cloth(pay attention rayban) they also feel very well built. There is one drawback to these shades, they fit kind of loose on my face but I'm sure that can be fixed with a little adjustment ... show more

Was a bit skeptical ordering these and I was correct. Glasses came, definitely appear to be genuine. But, the left side of frame didn't match the right which created a weird tilt on my face. To some I'm sure this wouldn't matter but I'd rather pay the extra $50 (which I did, bought directly from Persol) to get a pair of new shades ... show more
