I have always loved Persil. The first time I saw the detergent was, believe it or not, on Are You Being Served when Mr. Humphries stayed with Mrs. Slocum. I got curious and started looking for it.. Persil keeps my clothes smelling fresh for a lot longer and is mor effective than than any other detergent. I am so glad they now have a regular concentrate. The bottle arrived in perfect condition with no leaks. Persil has always been good at just washing out stains, but the concentrate is even better. I love Persil and have used it exclusively since it was introduced to the US. Mom used it overseas back in the 60s. It has the best fresh scent that lasts a long time even after wearing your clothes. All the different scents are nice. It doesn’t make your clothes dull and washed out. They keep their colors and make them soft. A little goes a long way so it is actually cost effective to me. Cleans great and uses less as this a concentrate. I switched to Persil from the most popular brand. I believe that Persil cleans better. Love the scent and I can control the amount of soap I add - unlike the pods which are convenient but sooo expensive. My only wish is that they would make this in a space saving, sheet version that dissolves in the drum. Lately I've been treating tough stains pre-wash with Dawn - just a small pea sized amount rubbed into the stain really surprised me, it works wonders, especially on my husband's polo shirts that seem to collect everything he eats in the car! ... show more

Ever since I switched to Persil 5 years ago, I've never looked back. I've tried many laundry detergents over the years. Persistent is more expensive than some other brands. It cleans well. It removes stains and it has a nice smell without being overpowering.
