We recently had to put our 15 year old Shih tzu to sleep. It's been really hard on me. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I don't have children so my dogs are my babies and it just breaks my heart. I miss him so much. I was very disappointed in the small box I received his ashes in, especially for the price the animal hospital charged. $131 for cremation and $300 to return his ashes back to us. We did not get to choose what we got back. We have had 2 other dogs cremated and got way better urns back for way less money. So I started looking for something special for him and came across this bear. It is absolute perfection. He was white and grayish/black so I purchased the white bear because it reminded me most of him. I also purchased a separate mini heart urn with a dog paw print off amazon to go in the bears back and I'm so glad I did. It has some weight to it but its not too heavy. It didnt fit all of his ashes(he was 17 lb dog) maybe about half. There is still plenty of room for more keepsakes in the back of the bear, small toys/collars/pictures etc could fit inside.The cloth heart included is so small. It would be good for some of your pets hair which I dont have. Now wishing I had gotton some of his hair. But I put one of his collars around It's neck and I can hug the bear with his ashes inside. I may even put a necklace around the bears neck I ordered off etsy with his picture. You can't really hug a box. And now I'm thinking about purchasing 2 more for my other 2 dogs ashes. ... show more

I loved everything about it! It was delayed on delivery but that was due to postal service. I gave it to our 90 yr old neighbor who just lost his wife of 71 yrs. We wanted something special and this bear met every expectation we had! It was super soft and now lays on their bed on her side. It brought tears to his eyes and a very thankful thank you. OK so I love this teddy bear it’s a great idea I love the embroidered little T-shirt that it has very soft for cuddly but my issue is is that for the amount of money I’m sitting on a teddy bear it should come with a little urn for me to put his ashes in . now I have to remember to get it get online and get one myself making it so I can’t use it right away so that was a little frustrating so to those that want this make sure you buy an urn with it because it does not come with one! it comes with a pocket for you to stick the urn in in the back of the teddy bear but it does not come with the urn itself so just know that other than that I loved it ... show more

The Teddy bear is sweet. I'm not sure how well it is made, as the ears are off centered, and the material seems thin but very soft. The heart zipper is only an inch or so long so you won't be getting many ashes inside. I took a tiny ring ziplock baggie and managed to stuff it in there. However, there is room in the pocket where the heart is to place ashes, as well. It's very huggable and nice to hold when I'm missing my sister. I do believe it's it way overpriced. ... show more
