I have three of them with my hat collection. I have displayed on a support beam in the family room/activity room in the basement. They hold three hats per hook depending on what size you get. You can have tons of hats displayed. This is fantastic. They’re easy to find you can flip through the hats really easy they’re easy to display. If you have a large amount of hats, definitely buy this product. You can tack it in the wall you can hang it off of a closet hook. You can hang it pretty much anywhere you desire.     • Keeps my hats neatly together without taking up a lot of space
I have a lot of ball caps. Therefore, I bought 2! Using this device I can keep them on the back of the door of my entry closet. A little hard to secure, which means that kit twists a little and has to be brought back into alignment to keep the brim from catching on the door frame occasionally.

    • Didn't really work for what I needed.
Clipping the hat holders onto the rope they give you is kind of flimsy. It's not really a quick hang and grab type rack. I really just wanted some hooks to hang baseball caps on and I found it from another vendor.

I purchased the 18 hat holder. I watched the how-to video before purchasing and I can tell you it is NOT as easy as the video. The rope is almost too big for the clips and the back of the clip that you are supposed to squeeze to move is VERY difficult to squeeze. The rope was wound up and tied in the box so it definitely takes some massaging of the rope to get it to straighten, even then it hangs very crooked unless you either screw down the base of the rope or use some really good double sided tape to hold the end down. Lastly, the part of the clips that you slide the hat into to, do not do a good job of holding the hat. They slide back out very easily, so if you don't leave ample space between the clips, the hat(s) it the neighboring clips fall out also. Honestly you could go to the hardware store and get some rope and regular clothes pins and get a better result for actually holding the hat. ... show more
