The box is pretty durable. The pens are nice. They write and color smoothly with no scratching or skipping. They do need a little time to dry if you don't want smearing. I find them very comfortable and easy to grip. I love the colors. I use the Sparkly pop in all of my pictures that I color. I do use the milky and the solar pop, but not as much. These write very well, have a good ink flow, and the colors are REALLY COOL. The underlying color will have a glitter of a different color that will float to the surface as it dries. I found these at a bookstore and was unable to find them anywhere else when I moved until *drumroll* AMAZON!! I am pen-crazed and I love these pens. No leaking, smooth roll, brilliant colors, the ink never gets dry or sticky. I love them! What would bears be without bees? Ears.

I ordered the bulk pack of the milky colored pens for work, since I’m very color coordinated. I bought just the single pack of them first and noticed that the pens run out rather fast. Pros: super fun vibrant pastel colors The ink and pen do allow for smooth writing One of the only brands that offer these colors in a 1.0mm I have no discomfort writing Fast dry time Cons: The ink is depleted faster than I’d like. Sometimes the ink will coagulate and you will have to get that off. The cons won’t stop me from continuing to order these for years to come. ... show more

I think this is my 3rd pack of these pens, and I love them just as much as the first set! Colors are awesome and look great on both black and white paper. Of course, they're bold point (my favorite), so you get a nice thick line. Very smooth writing.

I love Pentel, and these neon inks don’t disappoint, they’re about as neon as neon gets, and the ink is creamy and smooth. There’s just one problem: the 0.5mm nibs. They’re terrible. They cause the ink to skip, they’re scratchy, they’re just awful, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard the whole time you’re trying to write with them. I went through a lot of experimentation to figure out how to get this wonderful Solar Pop ink with a nib I liked. I finally figured one out. I also have the Milky Pop pens from Pentel which have the exact same barrel and body style as the Solar Pop except they come with a 0.8mm nib that is very smooth and reliable. When I got done with the Milky Pop sets, I pulled just the metal nibs out, cleaned them in alcohol, dried them, and then swapped them out with the 0.5mm nibs on the Solar Pop set. Guess what? It worked beautifully. I’m very pleased with the results, the ink doesn’t skip anymore, and the lines are more visible because now they’re not tiny. But the best part is how smoothly they write now, the scratchiness is now gone and these pens are now literally the most perfect neon pens I’ve ever had. Be advised that the blue and purple in this set do NOT fluoresce under a black light. But blue and purple are the hardest to get to fluoresce so I’m not really disappointed, it’s even kind of expected. The pink, orange, yellow, and green light up under a black light like the sun, though. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE these pens! They seem to change colors as you adjust the light! Nice thick lines it dries pretty fast but it can smear but it’s only happened once. I need to buy more!!
