I purchased 20 or so years ago similar bamboo trays from Pier 1. They are now falling apart and these trays are perfect substitutes for those. Sturdy but easy to carry. Packaged beautifully with a lovely card inside with info about the small manufacturer. Couldn’t be happier.

A few years ago now we started a weekly gathering of senior neighbors in our cul de sac for mental health reasons. It blossomed into a pot-luck as guests brought their favorite foods to share. Two serving tables now and a couple dozen regular attendees whenever the weather allows. These trays let folks carry more than a plate to try and eat from their laps while sitting in their camping-style chairs. These are light weight, 'serve' the need perfectly. So far, no failures. I add paper-towel placemats for a little luxury glamor, coordinated with our picnic plates of course. These are inexpensive, store well nested together in our gathering-supplies bins. These trays are a great size and weight. They stack fairly easily. My only complaint is two of them aren’t flat. I’ve been getting them wet and putting heavy cast iron pans on the bubbled parts and that seems to be working. It didn’t seem worth it to return so I’m trying to fix them myself. I think they’ll be fine. Got a nice notecard explaining the company who makes them in Vietnam and I appreciate knowing the purchase is helping small business owners there. They say to contact them if anything is wrong, which I thought was a nice touch. ... show more

Love these bamboo trays, ordered four but two trays are defective. Because we only use two for now I only recently realized that two trays bulge in the middle so items don’t lay flat. I am disappointed to find that I missed the return window as I wanted to request replacement. Live and learn, I should have paid closer attention to the quality as Amazon is very good about replacing items if you notice issues closer to purchase date. ... show more
