  • Quality and Style, Well Worth The Price
There are several options out there for ride-on motorcycles (we looked at most of them). This one however is a standout. It's an officially licensed Ducati product, made in Italy by Peg Perego (maker of other baby products like strollers and ride-ons). It not only looks good but rides great - and will grow with your kid. The motorcycle body is plastic, the tires are full rubber (instead of a rubber strip that runs down the center of a plastic wheel on other ride-ons) and part of the frame and handlebars made out of aluminum. At 46 pounds, it's easy for an adult to pick up and move if needed, but sturdy enough for little ones to climb on (my 2 1/2 year old can easily get on and off of it). The most impressive thing about this motorcycle (aside from the battery life and build) was the detailing. It looks like a real Ducati (albeit a miniature one). The front brakes and spring forks look like metal parts (not black plastic like other kids motorcycles) and the bike has additional details (like carbon fiber-looking fenders and a plastic wind screen) that make it look REAL and real sharp. BE WARNED, it does not come as shown in the photo. It requires assembly (58 steps - but nothing seriously complex). Those graphics? Stickers - and you will need to apply them (all 40+ of them). Yes, supervising adult, you will need about two hours to put this thing together to look like the picture. (Honestly, applying the decals was the most time consuming and frustrating part of assembly - but well worth the effort.) When you're done with assembly (and stickering) it's ready to go. Surprisingly, the battery comes partially charged, so my little guy was ready to ride on Christmas morning. He's now been out for about a half dozen half hour rides and the battery is still going strong. My kid also LOVES the engine sound which he presses to "start engine!" and horn when he needs to "clear way." (There was another ride-on motorcycle that played music, but honestly, we're glad we didn't get that. Trust me, the engine sound is plenty.) The training wheels help save and keep the the plastic body off the ground when it will inevitably tip over from a tight turn or uneven curb - and they can be removed later when kids learn to balance the motorcycle. We got this product because he wanted a real motorcycle, not a toy. We wanted something that looked real to him - and most importantly would grow with him. With two speeds (2.5 and 5 mph - don't worry only adults can get access to a hidden switch that changes the speed), this will certainly do that. It also happens to be the toy version of the Porsche of motorcycles - Ducati - which is extremely cool for both kid and Dad (mostly Dad). But the kid lights up like a Christmas tree everytime he gets on it and turns the throttle. Extremely satisfied with purchase. ... show more

  • GET THIS BIKE! Way worth the extra money.
We looked at 5-10 other bikes that were quite a bit less, but after a bad experience with an electric jeep last Christmas we decided to spend the extra money to get a product from a reputable brand. COMPLETELY WORTH IT. This bike is awesome in quality, looks, and durability. We only had 2 snags: 1. Our bike was missing 2 parts out of the box. We contacted the Peg Perago customer service and they were incredible. They even overnighted out the pieces and we had them within 24 hours. So impressed with their service. 2. The assembly is pretty easy as far as following directions go, but it does take a while. Putting the stickers on and getting them right was the longest part. Also, you might need a heat gun or hairdryer to heat up the vinyl and get it to stick perfectly on some of the round corners. LOVE LOVE LOVE this bike and so glad we spent the extra money to get something high quality that our son loves. ... show more

  • Best 12V Ride On Bike Hands Down
This is perhaps the coolest ride on for toddlers I've ever seen. Great attention to detail. Definitely worth the price. One caveat, the decals are very difficult to place and take away from the bike's inherent asthetics. I decided to modify the decals to make a simpler custom look. Overall, I'm very pleased with the design and quality of the bike, and my son simply loves having a big boy bike like his daddy's. ... show more

  • Cool bike for a 5 year old!
My son loves his bike, he’s 5. The quality is sturdy and heavy duty looks just like an adult motorcycle. Speed for his age I think is good as well. 1 complaint, the decals are not easy to put it on and in less than 1 week already look terrible.

  • Envy of the block!
My 6 year old had been wanting a motorcycle for more than two years. After watching the video, we knew that this was the ride he had been waiting for. The assembly was fairly straight forward but the application of the graphics was very time consuming. In any case, he simply loves his motorcycle. He rides it every day that weather permits. Battery life is excellent. Much longer than than expected. The training wheels are the reason he still has skin on his elbows and knees so they will stay on for a while longer. He found the high speed switch, hopped on, and never looked back. Best gift he ever received! ... show more

  • Neighborhood Rockstars
My grandkids went to instant celebrity status rolling these bikes out of the garage on Christmas 2022 morning. They’re still working, 6 months plus usage.

  • Great purchase!!
This is a really cool motorcycle! I bought it for my 5 year old for Christmas and he loved it! It’s faster than I thought it would be so it’s perfect for my son who likes speed. He isn’t ready to ride it without the training wheels yet until he used to the heaviness of it and learns how to balance it. Under the seat you can change it to a faster speed. It’s a very nice motorcycle. ... show more
