These peel and stick tiles offer an easy and cheap alternative to covering unfinished floors. If installed properly on an even, smooth surface, I would argue it is difficult to tell them from real wooden floor tiles that cost much more. The products came in a box where the tiles were stacked straight - this is important because some other products that I purchased came as a "roll" which unfortunately bent them slightly, making installation more difficult. This was not the case with this product and I want to emphasize it. The only bad choice the manufacturers made was to use thin paper as the backing of the tiles to protect the glued surface. As you can see in the picture I attached, I had to deal with ripped paper backing at multiple places which added to installation time. Some other products I used in the past came with a thin plastic backing which is a breeze to remove in one go. Other than this slight issue with the paper backing, I would still highly recommend these as an excellent alternative to real wood flooring at a fraction of the cost. ... show more

    • I took a chance and was amazed by the results!
I really went out of my comfort zone with these tiles and took a chance I usually wouldn't. I really dislike the white tile floor in our downstairs half bath. It looks nice, but it is just a pain to keep clean and ripping it all out just isn't something that I have time for right now. While the instructions say to attach these to the subfloor (which to me is an unfinished floor- and definitely not tiled) I still had to see what would happen. Luckily, these PAID OFF! The long, heavy box arrived very quick after I ordered them. Just looking at the box I thought I would need to order another, but the 36 tiles are a bit deceiving and I ended up having more than enough. The tiles are thin and flexible, but they have a nice weight to them. I think the reason I have disliked the peel and stick floor in the past is because I have mostly seen some terrible quality, paper thin stuff that warps quick, is so thin that it looks wavy and doesn't stick well at all. I was so relieved that these are NOT those cheep, junky tiles at all! They are incredibly durable, stick like CRAZY, and easy to install. Plus, these look pretty amazing too! Another reason I was scared/hesitant is because my house is 95% hardwoods and I was terrified that these would look super cheep and obvious. Thankfully, they are not directly next to my hardwoods, but I did a comparison with a tile and honestly- these look incredibly natural! I did my bathroom floor 100% by myself, without any issues. The prep work (cleaning, making sure everything was totally level- including filling in the grout lines, and covering the floor with a primer coat) was the thing that took the most time for this project. But I really wanted this to be successful and I wanted to give myself the best shot for success. Dry fitting these tiles was super simple. It was also very easy to mark them up and make modifications and cuts into them. I used a new blade knife (nice and sharp), which cut through the tiles like butter and left me with clean, smooth lines/cuts. I was really stressing about the tile that surrounded the base of the toilet, because I did NOT want to have a cheep looking 'lip'. Thankfully, the tile isn't super thick so it was easy to get it nice and flush. Each tile butts up against the other well too, so there isn't even an opportunity for them to be uneven. I did use a primer coat before I put these down, but I think I could have skipped that step because these really are STICKY! You do have a (slight) opportunity to lift and reposition them before pushing them down (what we called the 'steam roll' part), but it's not easy to get them off and once you do, they don't stick like they did the first time (that's to be expected though). In the very beginning, I did make a mistake or two, so I'm greatful that I had a few extra tiles to work with. Again, the install isn't difficult at all, but if this is your first time using this type of thing, then I definitely suggest ordering enough so that you do have some spare pieces- just incase. The downstairs bathroom that I put this floor in does see a lot of action. It gets used a lot when we entertain too, and there are always people here. I'll also add that we have a 180lb Cane Corso who doesn't believe in privacy, so he is in that bathroom often as well. With that said, I am VERY impressed at how well this floor has held up! There isn't a single piece, corner or edge that has lifted or a single spot that is loose or bubbly. The floor hasn't scratched or worn down at all! It's also 100% flat. These tiles are VERY easy to clean (YEA!) and even when the floor is not clean, these don't look dirty at all. (You will be suprised when you mop these and realize how dirty the floor got!) I was really worried that (eventhough I filled in the grout lines) the heavy tiles would sink into those lines and it would show and look awful. Thankfully, you can't even tell that these went over tile at all. Did everything turn out like I expected? ...No! It actually turned out BETTER! I really didn't expect to love the finished floor as much as I do. At BEST I had hoped for a quick DIY cover job that didn't look all that professional (anything would be better than the white tile!) but I ended up with a gorgeous new floor that looks like it was installed by a pro! ... show more

I was very happy with the quality of this peel and stick flooring. The planks look great. The wood pattern is believable. There is enough variation that it lays out nicely too. The adhesive is really good. The 36 pack does just over fifty square feet. These planks also mix and match well with other similar planks, so it's easy to patch in where needed. All in all, I would put this at one of the better peel and stick luxury plank products I've used. I would suggest. ... show more

Prep your subfloor and this will be a dream. Beautiful color and great thickness. The adhesive seems very strong obviously only time will tell if it will hold up. I did put it in my main bathroom, and i found it installed well and was easy to cut down with a sharp box cutter. Easy to clean and feels durable. ... show more
