My only objection is that they don't stay on a really full bobbin. Out of 200, only about 3 or 4 kept "jumping" off the bobbin and that's because the bobbin was full to the brim.     • Fits all bobbins, full or shallow
Very easy to pinch the top stubs and slide it into place over the bobbin thread, smoothing the winding thread about the bobbin as it goes. If youโ€™re fingers are not nimble or strong enough, it might give you trouble. Iโ€™m 68, so only a few folk will find it difficult to slide the holder on, my sympathies to you. The bobbins with the thread holders in place still fit into my bobbin cases, though apparently according to other reviewers, wonโ€™t fit into some other bobbin cases if the bobbin is full. It does mine. To improve this item: CLEAR holders would allow me to see the thread color. The cute colors donโ€™t help me a bit, just obscure the thread colors. Iโ€™d give this lot away and buy a whole new lot if they were clear. They are a silicon-ish material so are flexible and, as I said, fit all my bobbins. I expect them to last a long time. I love how tidy this has made my bobbin drawer! No more grabbing one bobbin while threads from others unravel as you pull away making an unsightly mess. (And, you have to waste time rewinding the threads back onto the unwanted bobbins.) I have lots of bobbins. ... show more
