I’ve had a series of poor rings from Amazon (stones falling out,) so it’s especially delightful to find one I enjoy. The red stone is pretty and the CZ sparkle beautifully. The various settings are not sharp and are unlikely to snag. The size is true. I am skeptical that this is a lab created ruby, mostly because of how inexpensive the ring is. The center stone alone should be more than $50 if it’s really a lab-created ruby. Since the listing doesn’t mention “lab” anywhere, I’m guessing this “created ruby” is something else altogether. I have lab-created rubies on my wedding ring, and they look significantly different. Gems come in all kinds of saturation and colors based on purity and cut. Maybe this was one of the rubies that didn’t turn out well enough to be sold at a higher price point. The other reviewer and I don't believe it's a ruby, so someone casually looking at it probably won't either, even if it is just an imperfect lab-created ruby. It’s still beautiful, but if you must have a ruby this size, I’d look for much more expensive rings. ... show more

This is a really pretty costume jewelry ring. It's clearly fake, but the stones are cut well and they do sparkle and shine. The ring fits true to size and I like that it is silver, so I don't have to worry about the color rubbing off. You can just polish silver and get the shine back. You can wear this as an everyday ring or use it to dress up an outfit. I'm not sure that it's worth fifty bucks but it does look nice. ... show more

For how inexpensive this ring was, I really didn't have very high expectations, but it's so, so beautiful! The sapphire is a deep blue without quite looking black, and it, of course, shows the blue shade more when in bright light. The sapphire has tons of facets! I especially love the unique halo! Despite not being real diamonds, the stones in the halo sparkle like crazy, and it looks much more interesting than a simple "outline" halo. This is an attractive ring, but it is definitely not expensive looking, and certainly not appropriate as an engagement ring, in my opinion. It arrived in a nice pink gift box, and fits comfortable on my finger, so I would say that it's true to size. I selected the "ruby" version. The main stone is not the rich, deep red color that I was expecting, but more of a pinkish red. It's also quite obvious that the surrounding stones are cubic zirconia. However, I do like the design of the ring. The zirconias surrounding the large pear shaped center stone really enhance it and make it appear even larger than it is.
