  • Like having 10 different camera bags in one!
Size: Medium Color: Black
This is absolutely the camera bag that I was looking for, and I bet it would also be good for other things. This bag is a great combination of both form and function, I can only hope that the product will hold up over time. Pros: - The bag is very stylish. Very sleek looking design, with modern accents. It definitely looks like an expensive bag. - Chest strap, waist strap (not much of one, but if you need it, you need it), and luggage handle pass through are nice to have. - Two hidden straps in the pocket on the front of the bag to strap on a coat or tripod if you need to. - Extremely customizable. I love the way that this bag was designed. It is basically like someone giving you a bucket of Legos and saying, here, do whatever you want with it. They have suggestions of how it can be used on the website, but you really can achieve a lot more if you use your imagination. - You can access the main portion of the bag from either the left or right side, depending on what you prefer. - You can unzip the side openings from either the top or bottom, as there are two zipper pulls on each. (great if the Zhiyun Crane or tripod is blocking access to the top side of the pocket) - While some bags don't have side pockets (for water bottles or tripods) on both sides, this one does. - There are carry handles on the top, and both sides so that you can carry it in any configuration. - The top buckle allows the top section to expand to fit more or can be clipped down tightly to hold your stuff when needed. - All of the extra straps and buckles are removable if you really don't plan to use them - The velcro shelves can be moved in any orientation and folded in different ways allowing you to be very creative. Cons: - The black color that I chose does have a habit of getting scratched, then showing the white marks on the fabric. It's really strange, if I could, I might be inclined to choose another color. - I wish that the side pockets were a little bigger to accommodate a slightly bigger (wider) tripod. - As many have said, $250 won't get you a rain cover here. - I suppose I agree with others who say the straps feel stiff, but I don't think that they are uncomfortable or anything. Conclusion: I love this bag. It looks good, but more than that, it can be configured to fit whatever gear I'm carrying. I've included some pictures of one of the setups I've used. It allows me to put my camera in the bag with either an onboard mic or flash attached. I also have my Zhiyun Crane strapped in the side pocket and clipped in with the included strap. True that you don't get an included rain cover, but I found this one ( AYAMAYA Elastic Adjustable Water Rain Proof Backpack Rucksack Cover, Black ) to work really well with the 20L bag. It will even go over the Zhiyun Crane and it stows away nicely in the downward facing pocket on the front of the bag. Be prepared to velcro, and unvelcro the dividers over and over to try and customize your bag. You have totally free reign to turn them at angles and fold them for the perfect fit. I don't feel like I need to make any compromises with this bag, and I can configure it to fit any of my needs making it feel like 10 bags in one. ... show more

  • This bag is all looks and no brains!
Size: Medium Color: Black
I want to like this bag. I really do. The black on black looks sick af. The function is not sick. For reference, I have a Nikon D750 with 85mm 1.4, 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4 and 58mm 1.4 lenses. I also have a Lumix G7 with 14-42mm and 25mm 1.7 lenses. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to get just the D750, 85mm and 35mm in the bag. The flex fold dividers are essentially useless. Inner sections are fine. Outer sections of the dividers are too small to fit lenses unless they are bare but then there is nothing to keep them from rolling around. There's no way they would fit if they were wrapped. I get that the top is supposed to be open access but without something covering the top "shelf," everything in that divider just slides up when the bag falls over. Also, the bag will fall over because it doesn't sit flat. It leans forward when empty. With anything in the bag, the weight pulls it forward. I could maybe make it work if I bought more dividers. But I feel like if I'm paying for a Peak Design bag, shouldn't it be PEAK DESIGN without having to add to it? The everyday totepack is more functional than this bag. Pros: The look The pockets The zippers Cons: The fact that the entire inside of the bag is basically useless due to the dividers and no useable way to configure them. ... show more

  • AMAZING!!!!!
Size: Medium Color: Black
This backpack does everything it says and more. It's the most amazing camera bag that I've ever owned and I've owned a few over the last ten years. I finally found one that works the best and that's this bag. It can carry so much gear I never would have imagined! We took two of these on an elopement shoot and were able to carry in each bag, two bodies, two lenses including a 70-200, two-three flashes, multiple batteries, a laptop, and ton's of other accessories plus our own personal items. We carried all of this while feeling safe about it not coming unhooked. The safety features are amazing. It is super comfortable even to carry around an air port for hours on end or hike through the woods. They also fit under an air plane seat even stuffed full of gear. It's an amazing camera and I couldn't suggest it more! ... show more

  • OK for commuters, but painfully snags long hair
Size: Medium Color: Black
**Updated** The Peak 20L backpack is a great bag for commuters because it can be grabbed on any side and is fairly flat. However... It doesn't seem like it was tested with people with long hair when being designed. If you have long hair, your hair will 100% be caught behind the metal rings that give the straps a lot of mobility. Over time, my backpack has started to squeak (the kind of squeak that you hear from Styrofoam, a sound I personally hate...) because there's so much hair caught in between the backpack and that metal ring. It's also fairly difficult to strap yourself into the backpack if you're trying to take the load off your shoulders. Rather than a buckle as many bags have, it has a very narrow hook that's supposed to hook into a very small gap in the backpack strap. It's not a fast or easy process to do, which is annoying when I'm in a rush and want to distribute the weight. Pros: - The magnetic latch is great; opening & closing the backpack is fast and keeps the content secure - Having two pockets for waterbottles is handy. The elastic for those pockets is very strong - so no worries about drinks falling out on the bus - The detachable velcro shelves are great for reorganizing the backpack. I took the bag to the gym & created a separate shelf just for my shoes. Cons: - The laptop pocket is *very* narrow. I have to remove my laptop's battery every time I stow the laptop, because otherwise the whole device gets stuck. - At least for me, 20L is not as big as I thought it would be. Before purchasing, consider how much room you need. ... show more
