The media could not be loaded. Arrived in about 4 days, it has great build and weight on it, works instantly with the ps5 for rock band 4 and fortnite festival, and this is the best guitar controller on the market. Also tried it in pc with pcsx2, dolphin, and clone hero and it also works well once mapped! I’ve owned guitar hero instruments and also the older rock band ones and boy lemme tell you this is a different one, very comfortable with long lasting battery, as silent as a ghost with the button clicks and strum bar. I can’t believe how happy I am with this product, I highly recommend it if you really miss the thrill of these games ... show more

Amazing guitar. Works as intended and very easy to use.The strummer is almost silent. Works with rock band 4 and fortnite though it preforms it best when used for fortnite. I wish this guitar could work on a ps3 so i can play guitar hero but other than that, its a great guitar. Worth the buy.

It's fantastic! Easy to set up, feels great in the hand, and buttons have that clicky feedback to them. Works out of the box with Fortnite Festival and YARG. You will need RB4InstrumentMapper to run it seamlessly with Clone Hero though.

I love that this is a return to guitar peripherals we loved back in the day. Feels like an upgrade from the PS2 ones, but not much better than the PS3/Xbox 360 era. This has one really cool function - the ability to fold it to save space. It's a great function that I haven't seen on others before. All buttons function well, and I like that there is a programmable button too. But two complaints - the included strap is as cheap as they come. Feels like a costume piece in a party city costume bag. Super cheap, and due to its size, it makes it difficult to plug in the usb-c charge cable with the strap on. Second, the thumb stick control on it is cool ... But I don't quite see a need for it. Placement of it is weird too. It makes sense I suppose where it is, it's just a little odd is all. It makes using directional controls easy, but it's still a hassle to select things because there are no face buttons anywhere, you still have to use the guitar chord buttons to select/cancel. Also, using a USB dongle instead of it being Bluetooth is a disappointment. That just means it's no better than the old guitars, and takes up your one USB port on a PS5. Still though, greatful for a guitar peripherals meant for a ps5 instead of using older tech. ... show more

Got this to play YARG (yet another rhythm game) on PC. I bought the Xbox one and it works awesome. Haven’t played rockband since RB3, and I missed it so much! Used guitars are like 200$ and half of the ones I’ve seen in my area are broken in some way. So I decided to pay less and try out a brand new Riffmaster. While I played drums almost exclusively on RB, I’d swap out for guitar when someone else wanted to give drums a whirl. This plays almost exactly how I remember the RB guitars playing. It has pretty quiet buttons and strum bar, not loud and clicky like GH, which is a plus for me. The noisy clicks throw off my rhythm and it messes me up. The only thing that I might complain about is the whammy bar seems oddly placed. I don’t remember it being a bother on my old RB2 guitar, but on this one, it kind of hits the side of my hand/wrist while strumming. It doesn’t really matter much, cause whammy doesn’t seem to work on YARG. Same with star power. I’ve shaken this thing like crazy, tilting it every which way I could, flung it like an unwelcome ex, and still no dice. But that’s more than likely just a YARG problem. Otherwise, I can’t find a reason to dislike this thing. I was hesitant spending 130$ for a new plastic guitar, but I’m so glad I did. It’s bringing back such nostalgia! ... show more

Played rock and 4 and fortnite. Tilt for overdrive isn’t working and it wouldn’t be so bad if the placement for the arrow key wasn’t so far down to use overdrive. Should have added a button for overdrive itself located at the palm like other guitars. Guitar is built really well other than that flaw I don’t feel like waiting to send it back for an exchange cause I’m able to play with it as is would be five stars if tilt worked. ... show more

Silent strumming is not bad at all, I do not miss the clicks, battery lasts for really long, also compatible with CH even though it is Ps5 version, nice packaging, can be bent for storage as well.

If you were hoping to rock out on games like guitar hero or even clone hero, you don't need this. This is exclusive ONLY to Fortnite Festival and Rock Band 4. There are ways of playing with this on other games, but it is janky and could brick your riffmaster. If you are a festival player or gaming out on rock band 4, however, this controller is for you. It provides silent strumming so no one can here you clicking away to your favorite songs. The Number one downside to this equipment, however, is that you NEED the dongle. If you try to connect via USB c, it will only charge the controller. Make this choice carefully based on your needs. ... show more
