  • Unnecessarily premium, but the quality/features justify the price for serious fighting game fans
Style: Pro FS-12 Color: Purple
The media could not be loaded. Compatible with PS4, PS5, and PC (these days I'm mainly playing SF6 on Steam) Build quality's amazing. The chassis is aluminum, just hefty enough that you don't have to worry about sliding it around on your lap (assisted by the generous rubber and foam padding underneath), but light enough that you can pick it up and wave it around with one hand. The wrist rest area is the best I've used, and this is coming from many sticks including the Mad Catz TES+ whose very useable wrist rest is completely eclipsed in comfort by the Victrix, to hard edged, harsh-angled beasts like the Qanba Dragon. The underside is lined with smooth rubber on the sides near the handles, and a thin layer of high quality foam along the lid. The lights along the top panel and the sides are great too. You won't see them during gameplay, obviously, but they've made a good impression with friends watching along who are newer to fighting games. Also, it's great for modding. Unlike other sticks, you can't easily modify the top surface without more exotic modding methods like metal etching/engraving, but getting into the guts of the thing is a pleasure. There's a lid underneath with a sturdy, well fit lid that more or less stays in place where you leave it (i.e. doesn't flap around loosely), and it's well organized inside. The only thing I can nitpick is that, since I'm transitioning to GamerFinger screw-in buttons (which I highly recommend over the stock Sanwas if you want a quieter, sturdier button with a more pronounced depress or "springback" action), space to get in there and work the screw threads is somewhat tight. But as of the time of writing I've replaced all the 24mm buttons - just need to find a single 30mm GamerFinger in stock to replace the jump button. I anticipate that sticking to latch/buckle-style buttons would present zero issues with space to mod. But if you're just looking for a good stick to game on, or even start learning fighting games if you're new, I wouldn't recommend this as your first fightstick purchase. The extent to which the build quality and features actually justify the lofty $400 price tag won't be apparent until after you've been through a bunch of different sticks (and even then, for some, $400 is too far north to justify any arcade stick beyond the basic expectations of taking some abuse and lasting a few years without having to change out parts, and that's perfectly reasonable). There are plenty of sub-$200 sticks out there that will last through years of heavy use and are just as mod-able, with more conventional and available ways to customize the front art. But man, if you know what you're in for, and if you're a longtime, serious fighting game fan with some extra cash to spend, there's a lot to love here. ... show more

  • Top of the line
Style: Pro FS Color: White
Best fight stick out. If you’re going to purchase a new fight stick in this range, the others dont come close, such as the obsidian 2. Might as well go for the real deal.

  • Mostly excellent quality, but missing buttons
Style: Pro FS-12 Color: White
I'm happy with what I got despite the high price point. The case is sturdy and comfortable to rest wrists/hands on (unlike box designs), and it looks great. I have 2 minor complaints and 1 major: There are no R3/L3 buttons. Sony shouldn't have licensed the product without them. They are non-essential for fighting games, but I wouldn't overlook that on a cheaper controller either. Minor 1: You can't replace all of the buttons with screw-in types because a giant plastic shield that covers most of the internal components takes up the space required. Minor 2: This should just come with better buttons. Sanwa's are functionally fine- you can't blame it on the hardware if you miss inputs, but for this price give me some silent, keyboard switch types. These minor issues compound because the most accessible cherry switch buttons only come as screw types. ... show more

  • The best
Style: Pro FS Color: White
Man I haven’t owned one of these since Neo Geo back in the days but this right here 🔥. It feels great, pause, and it’s heavy, not cheap. And I think you can customize it as well..gotta look into that. I’ll probably buy the purple one at some point. Only con It has… not being Xbox Series X compatible.

It’s Vitrix. It’s 5 Stars. What else can I say? Time will tell how long it will last. So far so good!

  • Too expensive!
Style: Pro FS Color: Purple
I love this fight stick and it feel premium and has great parts but I just don't think this should be 400usd, get a ps5 digital instead. Just think of that for a second 🤔.

  • Good stickless hitbox, with very basic sanwas included (Replace buttons eventually with better)
Style: Pro FS-12 Color: Purple
The hitbox is great, lights are cool, heavy, inside is easy to replace buttons (Just learn to hit & hold the little quick release tab button on the metal prong with a very small pointy object while you remove) and the wire management is superb. The quick tab on the metal prong connected to the buttons are pretty hard to remove at first when you replace the buttons, but afterwards they'll be loose and easy to remove for new buttons. The sanwas don't feel good to me at all, they feel very hard, not bouncy, SUPER hallow, and it's not my style. They feel nothing like my other mixbox 30mm sanwas. I purchased gravity Qanbas KS buttons which was a huge upgrade from the sanwas that were included, and then eventually purchased Gamerfinger 24mm. The qanbas are similiar to the gamerfingers, quicker activation but a much shorter distance. I prefer the gamerfingers but the gravity ks are nice. Overrall, I love it. If you don't like hallow hard plastic sanwas which I didn't, get qanba gravity KS 24mm or gamerfinger. Also, I don't think this case can hold all screw on buttons, to be safe buy snap ons and maybe a few screw ons if you want. It's cramped on the inside. Tekken based review. *For people that can't get the quick tabs off the metal prong, Go under a nice light and get a tiny tiny flathead screw driver or something that can push the quick connect while you remove. If you can't remove them which I couldn't remove many at first, get a pliers and pull it out. DO NOT PULL FROM THE WIRE, ONLY THE METAL PART* ... show more

  • Very good quality!
Style: Pro FS-12 Color: White
This is the best hit box available for PS5 in my opinion. The quality is the best I have ever held and the buttons are superb. The LEDs on the sides are a very nice touch!
