Purchased on 05-31-2022 for $8.56. Remember the first screen protectors? They were plastic films. They were good for a while until a corner or edge got lifted, and that was the beginning of the end. I think just about everyone has switched by now to glass protectors. They're much clearer, offer better protection, are scratch resistant, and last longer, too. I purchased these before I took delivery of my R5, and installed them as soon as I got the camera. It's been about 19 months since I added them and I have had no issues. None. No blisters/bubbles. No clouding. No edge separation. FYI, the lack of blisters/bubbles is a byproduct of correct installation on CLEAN surfaces. If you apply the screen protector over dust or lint, you will leave a blister. Particulate-free surfaces are key to a clean, lasting installation. Camera, phone, tablet? WHILE THE SCREEN PROTECTORS PROVIDE REAL PROTECTION FOR THE SCREENS AND ALLOW THE SCREEN TO BE CLOSED PROPERLY, I ONLY GAVE 4 STARS AS I COULD NOT GET ALL AIR SPOTS OUT DURING INSTALLATION. HOWEVER, AS THE PROTECTORS ARE SOLID YOU CANNOT SEE THE AIR SPOTS WHEN THE SCREEN IS TURNED ON. SO, OVERALL THE PROTECTORS ARE A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. Installed on Canon R5. Fits absolutely exactly to edges (unlike my other glass protectors for my Canon 6D). No impact on touch screen after installation. Feels smooth and you can barely see it's there. Nice solid glass feel rather than the thin stock LCD screen. I recommend using a Rocket Rubber Air Blower to get rid of any spec of dusts and then use the stickers for any other specs. Also be sure to use bright light! I really like the cute little hotshoe inserts. A bee and ladybug. It's a nice touch. Protect your gear! You never know what happens on location or traveling. I really recommend getting some kind of protection for the R5 touch screen. This protector has worked fine for me--it provides protection against scratches while at the same time, it seems as sensitive as the screen was without the protection. It doesn't seem to interfer with the quality of the display, either--it is still crisp and clear. The protector was easy to install over the touch screen--just make sure the screen is clean first as bits of dust can get stuck under the protector and make little pockets which interfer with the clarity. Frankly, I wouldn't use the touch screen without protection, just like I always get a screen protector for my smart phone. I consider it a basic safety component to protect my gear. ... show more

    • Perfect fit - and a tip for top-screen fitting
The back and top screens go on effortlessly. And they work, they really do. Just follow the cleaning instructions and the screens drop into place. Perfectly for the larger screen (point the camera down, let gravity do its work). The top screen can be a tiny bit tricky as the tolerances (the protective screen is just a tiny bit smaller than the space it is to fill) are close. If you see some air on one side or another, don't be afraid to lift the screen gently with your fingernail and reposition it...once or twice or until it drops into the perfect spot. And it will probably not even need any pressure to adhere perfectly, same with the larger back screen. Just be sure to let gravity help you: camera pointed down for the back screen, camera level for the smaller top screen. ... show more
