My cat loves it and he is picky! He didn't like his last cat tree so I bought him this one! One of the advantages of this item is that the little "boxes" have 2 ways of entry so he doesn't feel trapped. Also, the furr ball is stable ( I added a little toy to it to make it more fun!). This is a sturdy cat tree and my cat has a lot of energy so it handles impact when he jumps. The bed is also comfortable for an afternoon nap. I found it a little confusing to assemble at first. Personally, I would recommend better instructions. However, I eventually figured it out! All the parts are identified with a sticker which helped. It probably took me a half hour to do so. I love it though. It is reasonably priced, sturdy, pretty, and not so huge that it’s an eye sore. We have a litter of kittens at my house! A gift from an abandoned or lost cat I’ve been feeding. I’ve been trying to acquaint them with the cat tree. I’m sure when they get a little older and more brave, they will love it! ... show more

We needed a new cat tree for our 20+lb cat. She out grew her previous one. This cat tree has two "cave" areas and a sleeping area on top. She loves laying on the "bed" part of it so she can watch her favorite TV show (the birds in our yard) She really isn't interested in the scratching pad on it, but that's ok. She is definitely happier with the large size bed on it and the raised puffy rim to it which she uses for a pillow! I bought the large cat tower and it's been a great purchase! We have an adult cat and a new kitten and there's plenty of room for both of them. It's very sturdy and good quality. My husband put this together in under 10 minutes. I am really surprised at the durability for it being tall. My big cat (18 lbs) likes to sit on the top and it has stayed strong under his weight. My smaller cat (8 lbs) loves to sit in the hidey cube. Perfect tree for big and small cats!

Overall good quality except for the string that attaches the toy ball. Upon the first time of my cat playing with the hanging toy the sting material ripped immediately leaving part of the string hanging, and the ball on the floor. This is my second attempt at getting a cat tree that is acceptable to my cats, and this works. The previous cat tree was too tall. This one is the perfect height, has great places to sleep or hide, and was fairly easy to put together. My cats and I are very happy.
