Purchased this ring in June of 2024 and it’s now Oct 2024. It was a beautiful addition to a wedding ring I purchased from a different brand around the same time, but while the wedding ring still looks great, this band has already lost its coating and it’s now brassy. I love the fact that it is so small, just kind of barely there. Not big and bulky but just subtly there on my finger. Only had it for a week so don’t know if it will tarnish or anything but it seems pretty good quality so I’m hopeful that it will hold up well.

PROS: Cute ring + comfortable CONS: Brass + gold-plating fades too quickly Beware, ladies. If you're looking for a gold-plated ring to wear everyday, then this isn't it. So, I got this gold-plated ring to wear on days that I didn't want to wear my actual gold band. I thought this ring would be a winner, but alas, the search continues. I've had this ring for 36 days. During that time, I've only worn this ring once or twice a week. I'm meticulous about taking care of my jewelry. I do not wear my rings whenever I wash my hands, shower, wash dishes, clean, and etc. I also do not wear jewelry to sleep. I store my jewelry properly so they're not exposed, either. Despite taking all precautions, the gold plating on this ring has worn off. I understand that this is costume jewelry and isn't meant to last forever, but c'mon. I expected to get more than 6 days of wearing this ring. Also, this ring isn't sterling silver. It's not advertised as .925 sterling silver, but it's not disclosed that it's actually brass, either. I own a variety of jewelry, and I can tell by its weight that it's not sterling silver. This isn't necessarily a deal-breaker for me, but $15 for a brass ring is rather disappointing. My advice?
