I rarely write reviews, but these earrings are so special. The hoop size is not too big, nor too small. The simulated diamonds are also not too big, yet not too small. But what I love the best is the mechanism that secures the hoop on your ear. The back side of the hoop (behind your ear) that attaches to the front side of the hoop has a lever that secures the hoop in place. To open the hoop to put it on your ear requires you to push a lever down to disengage the front part of the hoop. I know this does not make sense in words, but order it and you will understand. (Let me start by saying.. my picture doesn't do these justice!) Now I have sensitive ears, always have.. so it's hard to find earrings that don't irritate my ears. Ive tried so many, and always fail (especially with hoops)... Well.. DING! DING! WE HAVE A WINNER! lol. I'm in love with these. Can't say enough good things about them. Now for the cost... they're unbelievable. Worth every penny! And great for us queens on a budget that want quality. So, I've had them in every day for over a month.. I even wear them to bed & in the shower. its like I'm not wearing them. I got the 30mm ones & they're the perfect size for me. So lightweight.. i forget i have them on. After 45+ days there's been no signs of tarnish, yet. & They still sparkle just like they did when i took them out of their package! I'm very impressed! They're definitely sterling silver. I love these earrings. I'm a senior citizen now, and wear hearing aids and am generally clumsy with my hands and delicate operations like putting on earrings. I always wear earrings, but was starting to lose them here and there as I fastened them badly (arthritis). So I decided to try some earrings that would be less expensive and easily replaced if lost. The earrings go on so easily and sty latched all day no matter what I do to my ears or my glasses or my hearing aids. I thought they would wear down after awhile, or the color would change, etc. I've had them on 24/7 since I bought them and they are comfortable, firmly latched and permanent, they are still as shiny as new and they are beautiful. I waited some months to see how these earrings would hold up before writing a review. They have stayed beautiful just like the day I got them. Very happy with these earrings. I love the way the hoops lock in place letting me know they are secure and not going to fall out. I have really wanted a pair of small hoops like these for quite some time but everywhere I would see them were much pricier. When I saw these I thought wow great price and decided to order them.
