Because of the material it's not particularly absorbent, but extremely comfortable to wear, warm, cozy, all the things you want when you're loafing around the house in the middle of winter. This feeling of luxury comes at a very reasonable price. Recommended. For reference, I am a rather short, rotund woman, 5 feet 2 inches and 200 pounds, and the L/XL fit perfectly. It does not feel too long as many robes of this size tend to be extra long. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE 💕 this robe!!! I got it for xmas 2023 and it is by far my favorite xmas gift ever. It is super comfy, cozy, warm enough to reduce a chill but not too hot to feel suffocated. I love this robe. It is soft, cuddly and perfect for those chilly evenings and mornings. Having pockets on either side I have found is a bonus. It's easy to wash and I hang to dry. Drying time is quick, whether you put it in the dryer or not.

I ordered this for labor and delivery at the hospital. It's lightweight and a little thinner than I expected, however, when I'm wearing it it's quite warm. Being that it's lightweight and packable but still cozy and warm makes it perfect for my hospital bag for my one time use. If you're someone who's always cold around your house and you're buying this for home, I would suggest looking for something heavier weight perhaps, like 100% cotton.
