I paint T shirts and its difficult to bring the colors up to be brillant. These paints make them pop. I love them. They are a bit transparent but they still give me the added spark I need to my paintings. I think they're well worth the money. An update on these paints. I still love love them. I've learned they dry faster than traditional paints so I only put out what I can use in a day or even less. I can go to the color and I don't have to mix it to get what I want. Almost like acrylic paints for shirts. I love that they're not traditional colors. I painted the tops of the tubes so I know what the colors are. I agree I would like to be able to purchase the Colors individually. I use some much more than others. I must give them a try! ... show more

I chose these paints for their neon colors that I haven’t found in oil paints anywhere else. Unfortunately the alkyd resin added to them gives them a sticky characteristic right out of the tube. That means a paint stroke leaves some areas thinner and ridges in others. These are nice thick and creamy paint and quite saturated! Just wish they left out the alkyd resin - the artist should be able to add that to their paint if they wanted it. Best to use these as a glaze over other paint. ... show more

I am just getting started with oil painting and wanted something affordable. This is better than a lot of the student grade paints. The tubes are a little over 2 oz each. Each tube has the pigment listed and a swatch of actual paint on the tube. I would give it 5 stars but, the greens they included aren't what I would expect. I would.have loved a sap green and an olive green. I can still mix my own from the other colors. They are very thick body paints with good pigment density. These are all true pigments colors, no hues so they mix perfectly. The other down side is no open stock. If you run out of a color you will need to buy another complete set or replace the color with a different brand. ... show more

Was really hoping to use the fluorescent blue shade but it doesn’t glow under UV light like the other colors as advertised. Look at the blue compared to the green under blacklight.

These are cheap alkyd oils. Very plastic consistency and look. I don't trust the lightfastness either, the yellow is lookomg browniah after a week!
