Steel arrive very quickly and in good condition. The flat bar measured to the specs provided and wasn’t bent or warped at all. There was slight discoloring from oxidation, but it wipes right off (though it doesn’t matter because I’ll be grinding this down anyway when I make my knife.) It's a nice straight piece but it's not quite 12"... it's rusty and the package it came in was all tore up. I'm glad it wasn't lost. I don't know if I will buy another though. I'm going to use it and see how it works out.
