    • Great little tool for doing angled drilling.
Need this for a couple angle holes that needed drilled in my garage. Works pretty well. The bits that came with it are more for wood and not really other harder materials. The jig is really easy to use and keep in your home improvement box for later use.

I got this for a couple of uses in particular. We are going to be installing cable railing in the new house, but at the moment, I needed to drill several perfectly straight and aligned 90's in a 1/2" shelf, making sure they are all aligned correctly. This guide is very well made, solid! The only con is the inability to set an exact position when moving it. Although it has various cut guides which would be fine on wider material, I ended up making a guide for the guide so I could slide it along the thin shelf and keep it exactly centered in the same alignment. A small piece of wood held in place with a small clamp worked well. ... show more

Recently, I had to dissasemble and reassemble a large cabinet in my garage. Some of the wood needed to be replaced and this CKE 30, 45, and 90 degree angle drill hole jig made it much easier to match things up. This is very similar to a different one that I had and lost and at a fraction of what I paid. I really like the built in levels to help keep angles straight while drilling. The media could not be loaded. This is a very solid hole guide. Weighing in at 433g it is almost a pound of solid aluminum. The drill guide insets are removable, so they can be swapped around or temporarily removed if need be. If you require additional clamping surface, the middle row of guides can be removed. I was unable to determine the thread gauge of the inserts. It is close to 1/2-20 and M12-1.25, but did not thread fully into either. I deducted a star because it came with metric bits (4.5mm, 6.5mm, and 7.0mm) that are close to the sizes of the three smallest guides (3/16", 1/4", and 5/16"). But since they are not exactly the correct sizes, they sit loosely in the guides. Appropriately sized SAE bits fit perfectly in the guides. This was a very strange choice on behalf of the manufacturer, I would have given it 5 stars if it had shipped without bits. The integrated levels are a nice touch. The bottom is very smooth, so you might need to take additional measure to keep the guide in-place when using it. Some options are: - Grip tape - Removing the top inserts so that there is more clamping surface - Grinding or filing a texture into the bottom ... show more

This works great! I have a Kreg pocket hold jig but it is very limited because it has to clamp on the wood and only works for one angle. This jig is really handy because of the different angles and you can position it just about anywhere you want. I also like that it came with several drill bits compared to Kreg that only gives you one. This is a really good deal! I needed to drill some 45 degree angled holes in a hand rail that I repaired for a neighbor's wheelchair ramp.
