I have had many adapters over the years but few that were really well made and compact, most are fatter and bigger as they are mainly designed for headphones with larger plugs. But most small earbud and IEMs have very small compact plugs these days. That's where this little adapter better matches most small earbuds and IEMs made today. It is actually not easy to even find adapters like this with all metal construction and very compact barrel designs, so kudos that some companies like PASOW actually see there is a need for slim compact adapters. I wish more adapters like this where available on the market, but sadly they are not. You can see in my PICS that this adapter is nearly the same width as the tiny plug on my IEMs while I also show a standard cheep readily available adapter that is metal and plastic, while yes there are many all metal adapters as well few are this slim and clean in their design and are not even close to the build quality of this. It not only looks great it fits tightly with a positive snap unlike others I have tried that don't have a nice exact fit like this one. The plating also appears to be of pretty nice quality I cant tell you how long it will last in constant use as I have only had it a short time, but so far it makes good contact with no loss of signal or static in the L or R channels. One thing to note before using this or any adapter make sure you clean the 1/8 plug on your headphones to make sure there is no oxidation before plugging it in. I see many people have issues and blame the adapter and really its just some slight oxidation that is causing the issue on the 1/8 plug. I actually like to have a light coat of audio contact cleaner on mine this ensures you always get a good connection. If your like me and want a slim HQ adapter for your IEMs or Earbuds then I would absolutely try this adapter out. ... show more

The construction is quite good for the price. The low profile once installed look good. Not much grip as these are more meant to install and leave in place and look better that the ones with the large textured grip area. Sound quality is on par.

I had another brand that was shaped different prior to this set. That other brand literally fell apart. These are rock solid, and haven't giving me any issue. In the same amount of use time as the other ones, they haven't fallen apart. The other brand BOTH in the pack fell apart after the same number of uses.... this one, hasn't even begun to show any signs of coming apart. Quality part for sure. Would recommend. ... show more

I tried some other adapters and suffered with static and popping. The connection on the 1/8" female of those adapters was too loose. These ones are nice and tight, no loose connections, no static or popping, sound quality is perfect. I love how narrow they are as well, they take up very little space in my headphone amplifier.
