I expected thin flimsy plastic that would probably only make it through one season. That was not the case ans instead theses were made of heavy thick plastic. Kids have used them several times and had a blast anytime we get a wet snow.

Excellent Heavy duty construction. It really held up better than other models like this I saw people have which broke after One days use. Makes nice round snowballs of good consistency. Not too hard or too soft. My 7 -year-old can now finally make really good snowballs on her own. Which means I'm now just her daddy-target! Ah. ... show more

I bought this as a gift off of a holiday wishlist for a needy family, so I don't know how well it works. However, it is made from very thick, durable plastic and seems to be of good quality and craftsmanship. The item description states that colors may vary - we received a red one. I saw a similar one that was a few dollars cheaper at a box store, but that one seemed like it would break easily - go with the Flexible Flyer! ... show more
