The octopus is one of the benthic cephalopods. Its body, which is totally soft except for its beak, has eight tentacles with numerous suction cups. It is remarkably intelligent and has an incredible memory, something which is not found among other invertebrates.

Overall, a very life like, well sculpted figure. Proved invaluable as a stand-in for the octopus appearing in my painting (in progress). It does get a star knocked off due to the anatomical error of having two funnels. ALL cephalopods have only one funnel.

Almost one solid ugly colour. Nothing like photos on website. Octopus is beautifully cast. The detail is incredible. It's just not finished well. We put ugly little octopus ín the aquarium. He's happier there. We're hsppy he's out of sight.
