The media could not be loaded. I haven’t used inline skates in many years. I have been trying to teach my daughter to skate & it was difficult to explain the concept to her without showing her. As a result, I purchased these skates. These skates are great, as I guess I am a beginner skater again lol. The fact that they light up is sort of cool, as well. I did a ridiculous amount of research before purchasing these skates. I had no idea there would be so many options. Read every product description, hundreds of reviews, and even looked a lot of the brands/styles up on other sites. I ended up going with these based on the reviews and the value for the money spent. Most skates in this price range come with just the skates and tools to tighten them up (normally a couple of allen wrenches). These are also provided with this skate. Additionally though, these also included a new brake pad and hardware for swapping them out after you wear down the first one. I thought that was awesome as many reviews I read included people asking about where to get new pads. We won't have to worry about that. What really put the value over the top for me though was the fact that these came with skate socks (socks that are reinforced in all the places that you would want them to be when using inlines--something I had planned to purchase separately), a padded carrying handle that clips to the top loop on both skates so you can easily them around (something else I would have needed to purchase separately), and a bag for each skate. I am gifting the skates, but took them out of the box after receiving to check out how sturdy they were. Everything seems really well put together and tough. In particular, the top strap, which you want very tight, actually "clicks" into place when snapped and you have to push a button to release them. I really liked that as the straps on the inlines I have always rented at the rink would often "pop open" while skating. That shouldn't be an issue with these. The material seems very breathable too. I like that as most skates tend to make for sweaty feet. The size adjusting was smooth and easy to operate. Wheels spin freely and do, indeed, light up as advertised. I actually just ordered another pair in pink for my daughter after looking these over. If we run into any quality or longevity issues as they are put to use, I'll update the review. ... show more

I had previously bought some of the ‘cheaper’ skates for my kids, and they were just that: cheaper. I am extremely pleased that my research brought me to these skates as they are more comfortable, better fitting, and of higher quality than the others. I was a childhood blader and now I'm glad to be back rolling in these babies for the last couple months. This was the best middle range priced skates I could find. Prices have up gone up since I was a kid! It was $40 for a nice pair of skates in the 90s, and now they're $120-200+ for some high quality ones. I only expected to use these a couple times a week for some nighttime exercise and I don't regret it. You get extra storage bags, a brake, hex tool, and even socks. The skate handle/holder is not always guaranteed as I've noticed I didn't get one, and was sent another brake when I requested it. I'm not miffed as this is still an incredible value for what you get. Some people say they didn't feel stable wearing these, but as an experienced skater, I say you need to fasten your skates tight for it feel stable. Regardless you're gonna feel a little wobbly if you're new or getting back to it. Also people have said they nubbed down their brake too quickly. You need to learn how to slow down without lowering your brake constantly, by turning in a slow eventual circle. (See YouTube) The raddest part of the skates are the light up wheels! Don't know how long they'll last, but I'm glad to have them during night skating. Overall, recommend for the quality and price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 5 stars for the LED lights. The shoe is a bit heavy, and takes some time to get used to . I got lots of compliments when i went skating . Someone mentioned that they looked like snow boots because they are so thick. Lol. Overall, this was a good purchase.

My 3 yr son loved ! It's really nice and beautiful !
