This came up as a look alike to Mindy Kalings dress which I loved so felt compelled to try it even though the reviews are not promising. So here are my take always 1. I’m petite but very busty (28 H bra size). My boobs are swimming in this and had the button not fallen off with me touching the dress it would have felt like being mildly strangled 2. The sides of the top (right adjacent to your breast) are not sewn shut. This makes me very nervous because the back is open so you can’t wear a normal full coverage bra. I noticed this because I was trying to figure out why it looks like there are pockets at my breast. 3. The material shows wrinkles super apparently but with the pleating that would be absolutely miserable 4. The length is super awkward. I’m 5’5 and it sat halfway between tea length and maxi. 5. It's hard enough trying to buy anything, much less clothes for my wife. I tried to surprise her with a cute springy dress the kids would like to see her in. Instead, they sent a Halloween clown outfit. Cheap material, horrible design, I don't think she even tried it on. I absolutely love the colors of this dress. They are exactly as pictured. I ordered it in size Large, which is my usual size. I think it fits me fairly well. The entire dress is very pretty. The colors are exactly as pictured. The material is soft & comfortable. It seems to be well made. I don't feel that the style is exactly flattering for me but maybe with the right undergarments, shoes, & accessories I can make it work. I have a family wedding coming up that I may wear it to & we have a cruise vacation planned, to which I will definitely be bringing it along. I can't wait to wear it. ... show more

This is a stunning dress! Right out of the package I was truly quite surprised by the weight of the dress, not heavy per se, but not a super light thin dress either. The colors are beautiful! I have a larger chest, so I found the top to fit just right, with some extra material but nothing overly pressing. I love the colors on this dress! I didn't have the issues with fit like some other reviewers--wish I would have taken a picture when I had it on! I can say that it looks way better with a belt. I ordered an orange one so the color pattern wasn't interrupted and it looked great!

I adore the colors of this dress. I was surprised by how thick and heavy it was when it arrived. It has a nice solid lining underneath and the top layer is full. From the waist down it is perfect. Band is the perfect size and sits nicely on my waist. The dress is long even on my taller frame. But the top...the top is hideous. I'm not huge but I have some curves and the top is so big and loose that it looks like I'm hiding a watermelon in it. You can see in the picture how much of a gap there is on the side which just makes it and me look big and frumpy. The front and back panels are just held together with a small stitch under the arm pit that I don't trust would hold for long as the threads are already starting to show and pull out. Fortunately I grew up with a seamstress so I am going to take apart and redo the top to see if it can be salvaged. If not I will take it off completely and still have a gorgeous flowy skirt. ... show more

This dress is so gorgeous. Love the style, color, the way the fabric floats when I walk! But, the fit is just too wonky to wear it. I got a small, I’m 5 feet tall and 115 pounds. It fits fine in the waist, it’s a maxi lengthwise which I would still wear, but above the waist is where the tragedy happens. My chest just does not fill this thing out. Idk if Dolly Parton’s chest could fill this thing out. Like, if you’re trying to smuggle cantaloupe and watermelon out of the party, this is the dress, plenty of space above the waistband! Also, the sides are just open. One side for me was sewn shut, the other was open, so I assume one side broke free at some point. I did see someone say they were able to alter theirs; I’m not quite sure how, but I’d love to find a way to alter mine and make it wearable, it really is so gorgeous! ... show more

This dress is so much better than I expected! It’s got a good weight to it, and quality made. The colors are very rich and vibrant. The pleating perfection. It’s got a slip on the underside so there is less worry of it being see through. It’s very very long, so if you have short legs like me, it will need to be altered.
