Will update this once I'm finished but here are the issues to be aware of before you start your painting. The canvas is shipped folded and full of creases. It does not iron out well. I tried ironing carefully on the back side and it was not improved. Not sure what will happen when it is finished or how it will look when framed. In hindsight, I should have stretched this on a frame before starting to paint. It will be impossible to stretch after painting and the only option then will be a traditional frame with glass. The paint they include is terrible quality. It gets clumpy very fast and does not spread well. I tried thinning it a little but it's very hard to gauge how much water to use before it turns into thin watercolor style which leaves too much canvas showing. They only ship 1 tiny pot of each color and there is no way it is enough. So far I have painted all of #1 and only about 1/5th of #2 and I'm out of the #2 color. I will be replacing all of these colors with close match from local craft store. Many of these spots are impossibly small even with the tiniest brush. They are turning highly detailed photographs into paint by number and there is just too much tiny detail for the typical paint by number. I'm tempted to skip some of the tiniest thin lines and blend them with the next color. Update: Well I’m finished and added a photo. I bought all new paint locally and it was still a mess. Ultimately I switched to acrylic paint markers found on Amazon and that worked so much better. I pained out the silly words at the top and changed up a few of the colors.     • Takes Multiple Coats of Paint but Still Fun

The design is so unique and it was fun to paint. The paint doesn't cover well so you have to do multiple coats, which takes quite a while. I went over the final product with acrylic paint pens to help define the lines more and give it my own twist.

    • Some of the Paints are not Opaque

I love paint by numbers. And this picture is fun with its bright colors and simply shapes. However, the bright colors (reds, pinks, oranges, yellow, and white) do NOT cover up the paint numbers. One color I tried over 8 coats and still the number is very readable. Oh well.... Update: Today is September 22, 2022. For over two weeks, this seller has sent me daily and even twice daily emails. The emails offer me Amazon gift cards in exchange for my removal of this honest review. They have assured me the product has been corrected, and this problem resolved. I have offered twice to have them send me the new product and offered to test it. They have declined. They will not back down. And it feels rather like harassment. Last week, I contacted Amazon customer service asking if sellers are allowed to contact buyers asking them to remove reviews in exchange for compensation. NO! They are not allowed to do this. I have repeatedly asked the seller to stop emailing me as my reviews are not for sale. The emails continue. Amazon customer service said they would escalate the concern to the appropriate department. The emails continue today… Please can anyone stop the madness?!?! ... show more
