Essentially an acrylic tube with two molded silicone pieces stuffed inside. I've been hoping that someone else would come up with something similar at a reasonable price for almost a year. I ordered because of my watercolor work space limitations and because it is virtually spill proof. I love that it holds my brushes securely to dry. My ONLY issue with this product is that it is about triple the price it should be because it is the only game in town. Inexpensive materials and made in China. I love the product but would advise on waiting for someone who isn't gouging to come up with a similar product if you can. Would not recommend unless you are desperate like I was or have money to burn. ... show more

I am disappointed in this purchase. I got it as a gift for my daughter. After the first use, the pastic "container' failed. When she contacted the seller, she was told that the container should only be used with soap and water - not paint brush cleaner. There was no note when I reviewed the product before purchase that said the only water and soap were to be used with the product. ... show more

Cup is rather small. Easy to use and to clean. Gets brushes relatively clean, but would be better if there were more cleaners on the sides of the glass. Not all paintbrushes fit on the outside as claimed. The gaps are too close together. Would be nice if they varied in size.

I saw this weird little paint rinse cup in an unsponsored YouTube video, where it was raved about. I mention unsponsored because I don’t really believe someone sponsored by a product tells you everything they don’t like about it. I had this in my cart for about a month and then decided to buy it. I wish I had bought it sooner. My watercolor and gouache brushes get very dirty during painting and are a pain to clean. I use an awesome brush cleaner, but wanted to give this a test. The first time I used this was with a set of 20 gouache I was swatching. Every single paint came off the brush when I used this. Even the dark colors left a clean brush. It cleans up easy, it doesn’t leak, it even has a holder on the side for paint brushes. I would suggest keeping a cup of clear water to rewet your brushes since this gets murky very quickly. I really like this a lot. I use acrylic paints. I gave this a 5 star because I like it. But I should have gotten the smaller one. I bought the middle size. It’s too tall for most of my brushes. Sooo I should have sent it back to get the smaller one but procrastinated. Lol.

I've been wanting to try the Paint Puck for a while. it's a bit on the pricey side, but I feel it was worth every penny. So far have used it for in home and plein air painting. The silicon pieces feel very durable and should last a long time. The plastic is thick and not cheap feeling either. The cool thing about this is you can fit the top section onto coffee mugs/uniformly shapped cups if you require a larger container for washing. It combines a brush washer with the gentle bumps and ridges at the bottom (which I've used without issue on even my more delicate sable hair brushes) with a brush squegee and reshaper (for getting excess water off and repoitning your round brushes). There are three sized holes for holding different sized brushes for drying. I am able to squeeze most sizes into these except for the really large or ones with an awkwardly shaped handles. Overall pretty pleased with this. It's modularity makes it fit all my art needs. Its still small and light enough to travel with unless you want to go ultralite/minimalist where space and weight is an issue. ... show more

I paint to releive stress but always had the issue of the paint brushes rolling around on the palette as i switch colours. Also there was the issue of residue of previous colour still retained even after rinsing it. Now i have no such issue as the bottom helps me get rid of all the colour in the bristles and also let them dry. Recommend it everyone! ... show more
