Works for What It Is I recently tried the DATAFY Page Turner for Kindle, and it does the job as expected. It’s a handy little gadget that allows you to turn pages remotely, which is perfect for when your hands are otherwise occupied. It works seamlessly with my Kindle Paperwhite, and I appreciate the convenience it offers, especially during long reading sessions. The included storage sleeves are a nice touch, keeping everything organized and easy to find. However, the device does feel a bit flimsy, and the buttons require a firm press to register. I have a Kindle Voyage that I've been using for almost 8 years . I have several Paperwhites as well but keep going back to the Voyage . That being said I wasn't sure how well this thing would work on it . It works great on my Paperwhites . At first it didn't want to work so I decided let both pieces charge for a while and after that BINGO works great on my Voyage as well . The instructions say it self powers down after 30 minutes but what I found was closer to 10 minutes if unused. I actually prefer the less time as I haven't found a way to turn it off when I'm done using it . When pressing the button there is a slight , but muffled , clicking sound but nothing to make me concerned about bugging someone near me . I have not tried for max distance between the devices but I have had the reader to my left leaning on the arm of my sofa while I have the remote in my right hand on the opposite side of the sofa , at least 6' apart , and it works fine . The response time between click and page turn is instant . As much as I enjoy my Kindles I am wondering where these things have been all my life . Between the carry bag for when I take my readers out of the house to the quick and painless pairing it's like discovering Kindle for the first time . ... show more

I have to read to fall asleep, and during winter months, my hands and fingers get so cold (have arthritis). I thought this would be great to use and I could keep my hands under the covers). And, since I can't get it to work on anything...other than one of my Kindles and refuses to work on either of the two phones... Why bother? It kinda worked for minutes at a time on one Kindle. I wanted it to work on a phone and it won't work on any of them around here which defeats my reason for wanting it in the first place. I like to also use my phone for wake-up alarms, for emergency calls in or out. I just can't get it to work with the phone. Even my grandsons couldn't get this to work on a phone. And they excel in this area. They know what they're doing with high tech. If you want to use this on your Kindle, it may work for you. I only have five models here. Didn't work all that well with any of mine. It'd start to work, but keep dropping off and then take constant working to get it back working... just a pain having to fiddle with it every few minutes. It's irritating when you feel like they didn't properly vet this. Can't believe it was ready to sell with so so many issues. Oh well... back to wearing gloves and sleeve covers. I kept trying to work with it and I don't think I can return it now. I'd give it away... true. ... show more
