My previous watch I had was a fitness tracker watch. My son wanted that watch so bad I gave it to him so I can upgrade to this one. I wanted to be able to stay in contact with him. I had no problems at all with my fitness watch just to be clear. This watch has alot of problems and I read the comments before buying and was in denial of what everyone was saying but I am afraid it is very true. So in this review I will combine everyone else's comments along with my own experience with this watch. I wanted this upgrade so I am able to stay connected with my kid. All I really want to do with this watch is use it for exercise, check messages from Whatsapp and my inbox. Check emails and make calls. I like the feature of lost phone or watch so you can find it when you are far away from the device. I had this watch about 2 weeks now and every single minute I take the time to learn about this watch. I have a very small wrist and it looks very big on me. Not a good idea for a child to wear this to school or around friends. I feel like it might start trouble because of the look. The watch is comfortable the color is cool. The battery will not hold for anything. I will charge for 3 hours and it will only reach bar 2 not fully bar of 3. When you turn on or off the watch the sound is very loud and no way at all to turn the volume down. The screen is big easy on the eyes but if you have big fingers, texting or touching some of the buttons can be hard like changing the time and date. If you remove the battery for whatever reason like to place the sim or memory card in back, the time and date will disappear and you will have to manually program it again which is annoying. My fitness watch had stop watch and timer which I miss alot on this watch. I have an smart phone android and with this watch it is compatible with all features. I am unable to receive or send text messages but I am able to call out on Whatsapp. Every two days or so I will get low battery alert that will give you 2 warning before it shutdown to charge. One of my reasons for this watch is to track my sleeping, heart rate, steps etc. The fitness tracker watch is perfect for that. You download an APP to monitor all of your activities. Just like this watch it supposed to do the same exact thing. The description would say download either of the three which also confused me because why can it just be one app. I downloaded one at a time and it would not connect to my phone/watch at all. I downloaded the second and the third and all the apps wouldn't read at all. So that was a bit of a problem.On the watch you can track your steps and track your sleep but it will not record and show your activities which this is what I wanted. The watch have a camera which is cool I am unsure how to use it but I do know you can see the same image on your phone in the watch and that's all I know about that. It had a calculator and calendar which I thought was cool but not really needed. Like I stated before it's hard to touch the numbers to use the calculator and the keyboard is old school with the ABC's lol. It will take all day to text Hello how are you doing today. After playing around with this watch for 5 days I've learned at this point I needed a sim card just to see what more the watch can do. I tried to figure out which sim card works best for the watch. I saw a sim card that is $5.00 that works like you having a cell phone 30 day plan and I saw a sim card that is just for Dz09 I brought this one and had to wait another week. In the meantime I was still confused of the watch and what it do. I watch a lot of you tube channels,read the information on here a thousand times and still clueless. It's not that simple to understand how to work this watch if you do not have all that you need. I told myself when I receive the sim card things will make sense. I received the sim card. Let my watch charged before using. Place the sim card in and it got worst. The messages will show, the phone will ring when someone calls but it drains my battery worse than my cell phone. I thought I had the right sim card until I tried to use a feature and it said need valid sim card and some prompts you need memory card also. I contacted seller with more question and concerns they were no help at all. I chatted with customer service to get my money back and we're gladly to do so and told me to keep it donate it but no need to return so what does that tell you. I really wanted this watch to workout for communication,workout, check messages. I can not get the watch to stay off the charger and back onto my wrist without dieing. I do not recommend to buy it's not worth it. But go on a buy that fitness tracker watch that is 29.99 that will work along with the app . It will do all that this watch supposed to do and better .     • Here is the information many of you are looking for.

I bought 3 of these. There are instructions in the box with Kanji on one side and English on the other. It looks like it may have fallen victim to a poor translator. Nonetheless, I have a Samsung Gear 2. The quality is almost spot on with that. You will need to follow these steps to make it work. Charge the watch. Make sure you have a QR reader on the device the watch will interact with. You can find them in the play store if you don't have one. After, turn it on. If a watch face comes up first, push the button again and hold it for a second or just slide your finger across the screen. This will bring up the main screen with a phone and envelope the screen slides side to side like a smart phone. Swipe to the right until you see a QR code. Tap it and it will expand. Then use the QR reader on your smart device that it will sync to. This will open another link to take you to the Internet. You will be downloading this onto your smart device BUT make sure your permissions are set BEFORE you download to accept apps from a 3rd party outside of the play store. You MUST have the permission set before trying to download or it will error out our not download completely. Once it is downloaded, look for the download and tap it. It is an apk file. If you have the Google dropbox, you can put it in there first. Open the BT notification app (BT for blue tooth). Make sure your Bluetooth for your phone is on as well as for the watch. The watch turns on automatically in airplane mode. Press and hold the airplane icon to turn that off. Make sure both devices are on with the discoverable setting activated. Start searching for the device from your phone, not the watch. An identical code will pop up in both your phone and watch screens. Follow the prompts on both devices. When all is done it may still look like it isn't working right (if you aren't using the sim card in the watch) but it is working. Have have someone call and text you. You can make and receive calls on your watch as long as your phone is in range you can also do the same for texting. You will have a keyboard on the watch screen that you can type your message on. On my Gear 2, I can use the talk to text feature to respond to a text. I haven't been able to get the find my device feature to work on the watch yet but there is probably a way that I have yet to discover. You can pop the back off to add a micro SD card for storage if you like. I believe you can buy a simcard for it and use it as a phone. You would have to put it on a plan or buy a prepay. Then the watch will also operate as a stand alone phone complete with the capability to search the Internet. This watch has a lot more features than my gear 2 and the display is great. The default on the display for brightness is midrange dim but you can tap the settings wheel next to the airplane to brighten that up just perfect. The sound is loud and there was no trouble for either me or my husband to hear each other with him on his cell and me on the watch.
