The media could not be loaded. I bought this box to use for a custom doll project. The box arrives flat and must be assembled, but it is very easy. See video for start to finish assembly in less than one minute. The box is nicely finished, and the magnetic closure is invisible. The closure eventually worked well, but I had to “break in” the box hinge first. The box is quite sturdy and is not easily dented. The interior and exterior are the same shiny, slightly textured finish. Despite the shiny finish, it was easy to adhere paper to the box using a heavy duty glue stick. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of this box. I’m giving it 4/5 stars because the box is pricey, considering it is not pre-assembled and the hinge needed to be worked a bit in order for the magnet latch to close. If you have the patience to get the box set-up and functional, then it would be good to use for custom projects, keepsakes, or special gifts. ... show more

I have never been so delightfully surprised with any purchase until I received these boxes. I used it to gift Chinese New Year wine and snacks to my family. The box is very sturdy and the gold color is gorgeous! I used this box to put a wedding shower gift of 3 bottles of wine (1yr anni, 5yr anni, 10yr anni). I was nervous it wasn't going to be sturdy enough to hold 3 bottles of wine but it worked great! (I don't know that it would hold them forever). Definitely give the adhesive time to stick before attempting to put things in it.
