I purchased the set of (3) Lg 4.4 QT Canisters. They are nice and great for organizing the pantry. Upon filling them, I noticed that one of the pop up lids would not pop down. I went thru the return process through Amazon, which sent me to Oxo. The packaging of the product seemed fine, so it appeared to me that the one lid was defective. I contacted Oxo and they told me I had to go through the warranty process. I had opened the canisters that same day, so the "warranty" thing seemed a little stupid to me. I filled out all of the paper work for the "warranty" and submited. I waited a few days and got the response that I would have to deal with Amazon because damaged goods were their problem. As I said before, the lid did not appear "damaged" just defective. I then reached out to Amazon....as we all know...getting an actual person takes about a half hour out of your day you will never get back. I was on chat for a long time and finally communicated with a CS Rep. That person could only offer me a refund of $8.77, which did not even cover the cost of a replacement canister. He or She said they could only do the options the system provided. Long run, canisters are nice, but check the lids before you fill them up with flour, sugar and whatever and throw away the packaging. I am annoyed by Oxo more than Amazon. All I need is 1 lid, that probably cost them 25 cents to make. Ugh! ... show more
