I found Oxi Clean Whites is a fantastic laundry additive to whiten, brighten and remove stains from white and lighter towels, dish towels, sheets, t-shirts, etc. I use warm or hot water, add the Oxi White and regular detergent and pre soak 30 min- 1 hr. depending on how stained or dirty the laundry is. Then wash on Heavy Whites setting. I have not been disappointed at all with the outcome even though our water seems to be on the hard side. The laundry comes out smelling clean and fresh every time! I am SOLD on this product. The only complaint that I have is the top of the container isn’t sealed as in regular Oxiclean and takes a beaten in the shipping process. ... show more

I love this product for many reasons. 1. It removes white armpit stains from colored shirts, and removes yellow/dingy armpit stains from white shirts. I had dark shirts that had white deodorant stains (even after washing) and white shirts with dingy armpit stains. I rewashed all those shirts with a scoop of this powder and ALL armpit stains came out! We are talking about shirts that had armpit stains for over a year! Now they all look clean and new 2. This keeps clothes dye from bleeding in the wash. I can wash new colored clothes with light clothes and there is no transfer dye at all. Once I bought new jeans and washed them with light colored clothes. The light colored clothes had blotches on them. I learned it was from the Jean dye! I have since washed new clothes with other clothes with a scoop of this powder and no more transfer dye. 3. It keeps all clothes looking vibrant and new. No fading. I have been using this for about a year now, and I use 1 scoop with every single load of laundry. Love this stuff. ... show more

I like this product, I’ve used it for many years. I do not like the condition it was in when I received it! The box it was in appeared to be in good shape, but boxes have tiny openings between the seals and tape holding it closed. The oxyclean container itself was opened inside the outer container. You are not getting a video, nor am I returning what’s left! I will buy another locally. There is a trail of Oxyclean from my front door to my kitchen. When I opened the outer box, more spilled out. There is Oxyclean on the floor, in the carpet. everywhere. Ok, I’ve vented! ... show more

As the company who made our favorite (non-chlorine bleach) household cleaner discontinued the product, we decided that this item might be the way to go. BTW, this type of product not only works as a bleach (and brightener), but as a mild sanitizer. My only caution is that it IS pretty strong...and you might want to go a little easy on how much you dissolve in water. We ended getting some uneven areas on some tan shorts of mine..which was a pain. ...and decided to more fully dilute what we had in a spray bottle.You CAN'T beat this kind of economy!!! Also good to spray on insects...cuz harmless for people and animals. ... show more

I had purchased the smaller version of this to try it for the first time and I’ve used it quite a bit. I just purchased the larger one because I am doing a big project. I have a white cotton couch. I read somewhere that you can wash the covers. I took a big chance and washed a small pillow with a small amount! WOWZA! I could not believe how white and crisp the pillow cover came out. I put it in the sun to dry and now I have washed all the others which is a huge sectional so I’ve done several loads and there is not one spot left on any of them and they were pretty stained. I have Four grandchildren that say what it looked like.! I have also use this with my sneakers, both white and other colors by putting the sneakers in a bag and they come out amazingly bright. You don’t need this product just for white so you need it for anything that you want to brighten up, such as sheets, clothes etc. It does not turn things yellow. It’s an amazing product and I will be buying this over and over again in the future. I did use, the spray stain remover from the same company on a few of the toughest things on the pillows.
