I purchased 2 of these. I love them, keep things cold 24 hours easily. Easy to handle. Love the two options straw or like regular glass. But - Both of my lids have had issues from day 1. I figured take time to “ breaking in time “. Wrong I am able to use both but I have to manually open more often than not. The colors are super pretty and Owala is just a great water bottle. You can use the included straw or sit out of the mouthpiece interchangeably no need for different lids or anything like that and it’s completely water type. It also holds a temperature for a long time. I haven’t tried hot but when I add ice to the water bottle it’s still ice there the next morning, even in the warmer months, I have never left it out in the hot car yet, but I would assume there may still be some ice even in the hot car in the summertime. It doesn't spill at all, the color I ordered looks very good and identical to the one in the photo, 32 oz I think is more than enough for your day to day, although you probably have to refill it from time to time. It feels very good quality but be careful with very strong friction, because it can get scratched, so I recommend buying the boot so that the bottom part (which is the one that scratches the most) is safe. I feel that the time that cold drinks last is much less than they promise, which makes me a little sad but after that I'm in love with the product ... show more

I was previously not a huge fan of metal "canteens" or bottles, and detest the culture around collecting overpriced cups/bottles, but this one changed me. My drink stays cold longer than I need it to and the mouthpiece with the built-in straw is a game changer. Although kind of an awkward shape, the handle has made toting it around a bit easier and has yet to break on me after months of abuse. The flip-out lid is an addicting/fun feature, keeps the liquids locked in and particles locked out. The bottle is easy to disassemble and clean. Not my ideal size for volume (I prefer 32oz+), but it has fit in most cupholders pretty well. This has been a great bottle and I'll gladly buy another if this one every breaks on me. ... show more

I grabbed the Owala FreeSip because everyone online made it sound like the Beyoncé of water bottles. And honestly? The coloring is exactly as described, the quality feels great, and I love having multiple ways to drink… sip like a civilized adult or chug like I’m lost in the desert. The smaller size fits perfectly in my backpack and cup holders, which is great because I take it everywhere… mostly to avoid dropping it, since it dents if you even look at it wrong. Apparently it’s strong enough to keep water cold for hours but not strong enough to survive my clumsy hands. Still, despite the price and its delicate little ego, it’s worth the hype. Is It just a water bottle you might say. I thought the same thing, until I used one. The feature of the sip or drink is great. I love being able to sip from the straw without tilting the bottle, especially when driving. It has a great look as well and it very durable and made of stainless-steel. Fits nicely in my larger cup holder slot in my car but not in the smaller one. Comes with a handle for carrying that when down also blocks the bottle opening button from being accidentally pushed. You push a button to flip the spout open, and the whole lid also screws off for refilling and cleaning. Keeps the ice cold for a while. The bottle is beautiful and of great quality. I bought the dark cherry color, that it’s deep and rich. Who I gifted it to loved it. I gave only four stars cause the shipping packaging was poor, it came in a regular Amazon brown paper bag and inside just wrapped in a thin plastic bag. No bubble wrap or box to protect it from bumps. Someone in my house lift up the package from the door but dropped it and heard the metal hit the floor. Thankfully it didn’t got dented or scratched but I thought it needed to come more protected for a bottle of that price. ... show more
