I'm not sure I'd call this bag "heavy-duty" as it has very little structure, but it's sturdy enough for regular use and has a large enough capacity for a full set of scuba gear (or a few sets of snorkeling gear). I do think it is on the smaller side for scuba bags, but certainly sufficient for one person. The construction seems decent, with a large zipper and adjustable carrying strap. There are no internal pockets, only an external pocket without a zip closure, so be careful if you plan to store your keys or other accessories here.     • Fantastic Bag for our dive gear
I ordered the XL bag , I just loaded it up with my kids wet suits , goggles and masks . It’s going to be taken with us to Florida in 3 days and replaced a mesh bag I was using but the bag I had was not made for the water like this one is . The mesh is heavy duty on this bag and not going to be damaged by water or sand at the beach . It holds 2 youth wetsuits , 2 full face masks , 2 sets of goggles and a pair of small kids sized fins . Will Update on how it holds up to my families use. Nice adjustable shoulder strap that has swivels on the strap clips so it rotates . Only thing I wish was different is it only has 1 zipper pull . Iv found having 2 zippers on duffels is really functional. ... show more

I was able to carry my full wetsuit, boots, fins, BCD, Regulator, Mask, and Snorkel without a problem. There is a little extra room for additional items as well. My gear is on the larger side as I am 6'3" about 200lbs. There is a nice side pocket if you need to keep documentation for the boat ride or scuba trip out. This is a nice affordable duffle bag and the Diver Flag theme is nice. I gave 4 stars as the material is a little thinner than I had hoped, but for the occasional diver this will be great. I like the stiff mesh. The bag holds it’s structure even when picked up. That being said, based on quality, I do think it’s tad bit overpriced at almost $50. Low $40 is more appropriate for this bag. The barrel bag looks big. You do have to angle items into the opening as the zippered opening is a little stiff and doesn’t open wide. But that just due to the rigid structure of the bag. Quality is decent, all seams are intact and nothing has ripped or looks weak. Just unsure about long term durability. I like that the dive flag design on both ends are solid, strong and help shape the bag. ... show more

This is a pretty decent scuba bag, but a little smaller than I am used to. The mesh seems to be of good quality and the carrying strap is rugged enough. I am also used to a second nylon tie to give a little extra support to the overall bag, but since this one is smaller I can see why it does not have one. I think it is a good purchase, but check the dimensions to see if what you plan to pack in it will fit. It will work for what I need so I am happy with it. ... show more

This is a decent dive bag. It is pretty large although I have larger and more heavy duty bags that cost more. This bag can hold your basic dive equipment or multiple snorkel kits. The open mesh is nice to let your items dry out but it wont keep anything from getting wet. The construction is good and the strap seems sturdy enough. I like the dive emblems on the end of the bag. There is an outside pocket that doesn't close so it's usefulness is limited. The main zipper is plastic but strong. The bag is easy to clean and won't get moldy. There's no mistaking this bag for anything other than a dive bag from the moment you see either side. The dive flag symbol is bright red with a white line across it, and both sides of this bag show exactly that in the perfect shade and with just the right amount of vibrancy. The center is mesh, which means your fins, goggles, dive computer, wet suit, weights, belt, BCD and other gear can be packed neatly away while also getting fresh air and drying. The center is a wide open compartment without any silly bells and whistles that dive bags simply do not need to offer, and the handles are perfect for easy transport. This dive bag has a lot of room for all your gear. I currently have large dive fins, two masks, boots, gloves and a fishing magnet inside and still have a lot of room for more. Could likely also fit my wetsuit and a few other things like dive apparatus if I had some. This appears to be well put together with some heavy duty mesh along with a big zipper pull. The side has an additional mesh pocket that would only be better if it was also zippered to prevent things from possibly falling out of it as the velcro might not hold it tightly shut. ... show more
