There are times when a small hand mixer works better than the large, expensive KitchenAid on the counter. Making whipped cream, instant pudding or cakes from a mix is quicker and easier with this little mixer. I like the little case that stores the beaters and cord underneath the mixer. It takes up so little space in the cupboard! Yes, the lowest of the five speeds could be even lower, so use a larger mixing bowl to prevent splatters, but given the price, it is hard to complain about anything. This mixer is pretty good but could be better. It's a good beginner mixer but it's small so if youre baking a cake, it's kind of hard to mix the batter because the beaters are so short. The motor is also not very strong at all even on the highest speed. It goes slow when the batter is thick. I just needed a quick cheap one though so it works fine for what I needed.
