  • A bit heavy around my neck, but invaluable
Color: #2-grey
I am a retired senior, so my need was to prevent dropping my phone while outdoors with my dogs. I bought this after doing exactly that, smashing the on/off button. The phone hangs uncomfortably heavy around my neck, which I resolved by extending the cord to full length and then putting the phone in my side pocket. This might not work for a very tall person, but I’m 5’4”, so it works well. When I’m out and about, I put the phone in my purse with the wrist strap, to prevent dropping it when I remove it from my purse. I’m not at all clumsy or butter-fingered, I just want to avoid going through the hassle of replacing the phone and restoring all the appps and contacts. ... show more

  • Great for when your pockets aren’t deep enough!
Color: #1-black
I do a lot of field work for my job that requires the use of my phone, but also requires two free hands at any given time. We all know how women’s pants have either no pockets, fake pockets, or very small pockets. That makes things very frustrating when needing to switch between using my phone and using my hands. The piece that fits in the phone case is small and doesn’t disrupt my case, or my charging port. The lanyard can adjust to a very large range of sizes. I bought this set for work, but use it when I’m working outside, when I’m cleaning the house, and all sorts of other times because of the convenience ... show more

  • >>> SEEMED GREAT AT FIRST
Color: #1-black
> For use with a cell phone case only. > Seemed great at first. Well made, rugged. May be good for riding roller-coasters, rock climbing, zip lining, and such -- but not so much for ordinary daily use. Probably excellent if you want to wear your cell phone diagonally across your chest, like a purse. > The attachment pads are very interesting. They are "sticky" on smooth surfaces (that is, the back of your cell phone, and the inside of your cell phone cover) --- but without adhesive, and just peal off if you want to remove them. The attachment pads do not interfere with installing and removing the cell phone case. The attachment pads alone are worth the price of the OUTXE lanyard. And you get 5 pads, enough for 5 phones. > But, in my opinion, for my personal use, the straps of the OUTXE lanyard are too thick, too wide, too stiff -- particularly if you primarily want to carry your cellphone in a pocket or a bag. I also soon became concerned about the metal fittings scratching my cell phone. It's too much hardware -- with the effect that you'd probably take the lanyard off your phone, and then not have it on the phone when you need it most. The lanyard is too bulky to just keep in a pocket by itself to use "when necessary". The nice little handstrap only exacerbates the bulkiness problem -- which are you going to use? The neck strap?, the hand strap? Both? (Actually probably neither). A better solution, for me, would be a smaller, more comfortable, more subtle, lanyard that I could permanently install on my phone --- especially if the lanyard could double as a wrist-strap. > So, I kept the very useful attachment pads, but replaced the OUTXE lanyard with a "AMUU Lanyard" (search Amzn for "AMUU Lanyard"). No metal parts to potentially scratch my phone. Much more compact, comfortable, and less obtrusive. I usually wear the AMUU Lanyard around my neck ( usually with the phone in my shirt pocket), but if I put away my cellphone in a pants pocket, etc. (or for women, in a purse) the AMUU Lanyard can simply wrap around the phone taking-up almost no extra space. If I'm using my cellphone extensively (e.g. taking photos) I just let it hang from my neck. If you want to keep your phone in your pants pocket, the lanyard can also be looped through your belt to provide extra security. The AMUU Lanyard does not have any clips, nor a breakaway feature -- and so, the AMUU protects from accidentally dropping your cell phone, and also protects your cell phone from theft (as long as the lanyard is around your neck or attached to your belt). > CAVEAT -- While the "AMUU Lanyard" has a slider for "shortening the lanyard" --- the slider is worthless, because it does not stay in place. But you can make a temporary quick, loose, overhand knot to temporarily convert the "AMUU Lanyard" into a wrist strap, if desired (e.g., to take a selfy). >> Note that there are similar lanyards with easy-release plastic clips which allow you to disconnect your ID Badge (the lanyards are almost exclusively used for that purpose) to run your badge though a scanner etc. --- but those are poor choices for a cell phone lanyard, because they might disconnect by accident, dropping your phone to the floor. ... show more

  • Great phone strap for travel!
Color: #1-black
Great phone strap. Used for recent vacation. Easy to install with my otter case. The clip and straps are very sturdy. Worked great while touring in museums, shopping, hiking, walking on beach and just going to breakfast in the hotel. Easy to clip strap to phone and room key card on same clip. I'm back from vacation and chose to keep strap in place because it is convenient and streamlined. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Color: #1-black
I am not sure if the clasp is metal. It feels plastic. The part that holds the phone also feels weak and cheap. I'm disappointed because I thought it'd be better quality. It arrived in good packaging and in a timely manner.

  • they are really easy to put on
Color: #2-grey
I use mine all the time so I can still have my phone out when I’m carrying my purse. also, my 11-year-old granddaughter drops her phone a lot so we put one on for her and I make her use it. Also it really comes in handy and carried around wearing a sweater carrying my purse and I still haven’t handy if I need. ... show more

  • Outxe phone lanyard, neck & wrist
Color: #1-black
These are great! We walk and go on vacation so my hand gets tired from holding the phone. I used the adjustable neck one for long trips walking and just cover the lens with my hand if the Sun is out. I keep the wrist lanyard on all the time so I can keep from dropping the phone and found it in my purse easily. They are very sturdy ribbons too. I got compliments on the neck lanyard. Most of us never think about this but it has come in so handy on trips ... show more
