Some have said the plastic clip doesn’t hold the actuator rod. That is because this handle comes with the wrong size insert.(see picture) the one on the left is what comes installed the one on the right is the original. So as long as you can reuse the original it works great. Also noteworthy is the fact it doesn’t come with the rubber gasket, I was able to reuse the original.     • Check it before you close the door!
Handle was so cheap I hate to complain but it just didn't work. Before you close the door after installation first check to see if it works. If you close the door and it doesn't you may be in real trouble. To test handle, while the door is open, close the latch on the side of the door with a screw driver and see if it releases when you pull the handle. If you close the door and it doesn't you have to drill a hole in the door on the inside sill below the window to access the handle control rod. Either way, I had to bend the trigger lever on my new handle for it to work. No, I shouldn't have to but I know the OEM handle would be many times the cost from a dealer ... show more
