Im 6'2 165lb, and i often have problems with pant legs being too short, and its even worse when Im on the bike. These pants are nice. The leg covers my ankle on and off the bike, the back pockets holds my phone (7 inch phone. S21 ultra/ iphone promax size, it doesn't always fit) and zips, and allows the phone to come off center of your arse when you're on the saddle, so you dont sit on it. I think the articulated knee will be noticeable when pedaling. The legs past the quads are bit puffy and will probably add quite a bit of drag, so these will probably only see use in heavy snowfall/ high winds/ rain. I haven't found any loose stitches upon first inspection, and the logo is very subtle and doesn't scream amazon clothes. I ride... above average speeds and conditions. Pretty good for the price. Of course you're going to sweat in these. But if you're just going to do some outside activity and don't want to get wet and stay warmer for a few hours, then these should be right up your alley. They're also a nice style. The alternative I guess is $200 and you'll also sweat in the higher end specialized clothing retailer's options. ... show more

This fits me perfectly. There are two snaps and a zipper for closure. The fleece lining is soft, comfortable and warm. The pockets are standard size, as are the belt loops. Based on one of the prior reviews, I expected this to have a “dad fit”, but the pants are form-fitting with a boot-cut, which is exactly what I prefer. Very comfortable to wear and high quality materials. I subsequently purchased 4 more of these in various colors.

Was in Iceland for 17 days and it rained for 14 of them. These pants saved me! I would totally recommend them for anyone who is looking for a great pair of waterproof warm pants to wear every day.

I’m a 36 in my Jeans . I order a 36 and they were very loose. Returned for 34 hopefully they won’t be loose too . They also can be shortened if need be . Bought for a trip to Iceland. Maybe I’ll add to review when I get back .

Outdoor Ventures Ski/Snow Pants Note: Some of the photos make the pants appear grey, it is a deep black. Initial Impression • Pants fit good 
• A disposable tag on the pants say they are Windproof, Elastic and Waterproof, no permanent tag that says this 
 • Advertised as high-waisted, seems like one inch higher, not uncomfortably high unless you normally wear your pants really low, not an issue for me • Adjustable velcro waist straps • Belt Loops • To be worn with long johns or underwear, would be snug if you want to wear pants underneath • The shell of the fabric is soft, not stiff which usually makes jackets or pants noisy 
• I find these pants fitted in the seat, hips and thighs, and the fabric does not rub, there is no swishing sound from the thighs • I get a swishy sound as the pant cuffs rub once in a while because they are wider for going over ski boots, not a deal breaker (not George Constanza suit swishy) • 4 Pockets, 2 Front, 2 Back and all four zipper close • If you want cargo pockets, look elsewhere • Zipper pulls are reflective • Articulated knees • Fabric does flex for freedom of movement • Pant Cuffs are 23 cm (9 in) wide • Do they fit over ski boots... yes they do • Do not know about snowboard boots • Pants do not have leg vents • Pants do not have gaiters, snaps or zippers on the leg cuffs • There is a hard plastic loop in the front near the left pocket, probably can be used to hook a carabiner on • All pockets and inside pants are fleeced lined Cons • Would have been better if pockets were smooth nylon instead of fleece, easier to put things in and take out • You choose by waist size and inseam length based on their chart, pants delivered will come with a tag that says S, M, L, etc • This means their selection of pants is not as granular as you think, a conversion is being done from the numbers you provide and it is a hit or miss if they fit like they were tailored, OK or they drag on the ground • This is why reviews and answers about fit is all over the map • You want a tailored experience, take them to a tailor or put a crowbar in your wallet for out of the box fits like a glove pants • It is the seller and/or website owner who are getting a tailored experience because you are providing measurements that are closest to what you normally wear and you get a generic S, M, L, etc in return Final Thoughts • Disappointed pants are not as tailored as advertised, inseam wise • They fit good in the waist, seat, hips and thighs, not baggy so no swishy sound when walking, cuffs brush occasionally which is to be expected since they need to be large enough to fit over ski boots, not constantly brushing and is a non-issue • Pants were warm and dry while skiing for 4 days • Length of pants can be tailored, no elastic gaiters, zippers or button clasps on the cuffs, this would prevent tailoring • Like that there are 4 pockets, all zipper close • Would prefer the pockets to be nylon instead of fleece to put things in easier and take out • These are inexpensive, warm and fit well, a recommended buy • If these pants were as granular as advertised I would give it 5 stars, truth in advertising –––––– ... show more
