The brushed silver is much nicer than standard silver one, the standard silver one is ugly. Brushed silver looks so much better. It tracks sleep very well and gives you great insight to your health. Never would I have thought of spending this kind of money on a health ring, but it helps my anxiety - Just be aware for all the features you have to subscribe and its an annual fee, that is the only down side so far. When I first put on the ring, I didn’t like it. It felt bulky and I was constantly changing fingers. Finally, after more than a week, I settled on the middle finger of my non-dominant hand. I sleep with it on, but I’m not sure how accurately it tracks my REM versus non-REM. I also JUST found the oxygen saturation metrics under the sleep screen. This ring does a LOT more than I initially thought. My ring is the polished silver and I am not having any issues with scratches or markings. The battery life seems good. I charge it about every 5 days or so. I like the sleep and activity reminders. The app is good and easy to use. It takes several days to track and store usable data for trends. Initially I thought I'd get some generic thoughts and information on my heart, with rates throughout the day and night to better understand my personal biometrics. The ring is amazing, but it's the app providing feedback in real time that's the kicker making it great. After just a couple weeks, I realized the ring now had a consistent analytic rhythm set to my body which was now is able to guess that I ate a late meal, or had a bit too much wine, and most importantly show the consequence. Not that I needed to do anything, it's just information to use to improve or adjust our behavior. The sleep analytics are incredibly wide ranging and, in my opinion, most impactful for optimal health (if I actually make some changes, *SIGH*). The cat at 9:30PM settling in and messing with my sleep latency, then hopping off at 5 (brief awake time), coming back for the wakeup call at 6 was quite enlightening. Hope to explore more in the coming weeks and months as it tracks more of my data and I next start to modify my behavior and habits.
