The media could not be loaded. This is my initial review for the VANDER Life 72W LED Ceiling Lamp and I'll continue updating it as I use it. By fat this is the most beautiful ceiling light I've ever had, the pictures don't give it justice, once you install it and see it in the room, it's gorgeous. Everything feels and looks better, it gave this aesthetically pleasing view to the ceiling and the whole room from distance. It's also so bright, it comes with a little neat remote that you can control everything from, like you can control the dimming or the color temperature or turn it on and off, so many features for such a very budget friendly ceiling light. Packaging was great, everything came very well and neatly packed. It arrived very safe and I couldn't be happier. Installation was confusing at first, as it comes with so many party that you have to interconnect together, in a specific way, probably you'll also need 2 people in order to hang it, because once everything it installed on the plate, holding it is a bit tricky but once installed, you'll feel that you accomplished something great, and you'll feel better when you look at it, and everytime you turn on the lights. The only downside, is that it doesn't have smart features, like alexa but that can be easily installed by buying a smart light switch, other than that, I highly recommend it, it got amazing build quality and great price that can't be beat. Didn’t light up. No instructions. Don’t understand how the LED wires connect to each other to light up all the rings. Remote did nothing to help. I think I’m a pretty fair electrician. I’ve wired basements, houses, distribution panels, installed lights outlets, diagnosed electrical problems but this light has me perplexed. After some good customer service (installation instruction sent to me) I was able to easily hook up the light and it worked. Ordered a 2nd light as planned. Increased rating to 5 stars. ... show more

my opinion as of right now is that this light is great for the money. Putting it together piece by piece was kind of a pain in the butt, but really was not that hard. It probably took close to an hour to build it and wire it all up. I am not an electrician, and the directions could have been written better, but I was able to figure it out pretty easily. My fiance and I wired it to the existing house wiring and it was easily mounted to the ceiling. It may have taken 5 minutes to get it mounted to an existing box. It worked fine immediately. All of the remote features work fine. Multiple different color hues, warm white, cool white, natural. 1/2 dim for night mode, and all dimming features work fine. It goes from very bright to dim. I have it right in the center of a 500 square foot room and it easily lights up the entire room. for now I give it 5 stars. It has only been hooked up for 1 day so I cant say anything as to its lifespan. We will see. ... show more

    • It doesn't remember last used mode when using wall switch.

The wall switch turns on 1st mode everytime. So if you want warm white (4th mode), you would have to turn wall switch on and off four times to get the mode that you want, WTF. I need a kitchen ceiling light and I have other lights, breakfast and sink areas, so I have 4 switch plate (4th switch is for a fan) on a wall. I would like to have the option to turn all lights on at the same time at the switch plate. Why would I want to fetch the remote control to turn on this stupid light for the right mode? Why would I want to tape the remote control on the wall by the switch to use it each time when I have the wall switch? It only remembers the last setting using the remote control only, WTF!!! This light fixture requires tenacity and common sense. If you don't possess both, you will not succeed in having a nice fixture like this. If you follow the instructions, you can assemble and install this yourself. I am very happy with my purchase. The room I installed in is a very dim room and therefore requires bright daylight output and not warm lighting. The photos attached show the light output at the brightest, cool light. Love love love the versatility of the light. The light fixture comes with a remote so you can change from cool to warm and bright to dim and even has a sleep mode. Because the remote has dimming controls, you no longer need to use the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch doesn't work with this light anyway; it will look as though the light is malfunctioning, so I would avoid using it. The remote also has on/off switch. ... show more

We get more compliments on this than anything else in our new house. But I love it because it REALLY DOES DIM! Yes, it has the color changing from warm to cool, but this light really does give you control to fade warm/cool through the entire spectrum, rather than just 1 in-between setting. And the best part is you also have full control of dimming it (anywhere on the color spectrum) from 100% down to about 20%. That's hard to find in LED lighting, in my experience. Bonus features: * There's a button I call "Mood Lighting" which automatically dims to the perfect level for an intimate dinner. * There's also a 30-second delayed off button, so I can shut everything up for the night and use this bright light to see my way to the bedroom. No more tripping over dogs the whole way via nightlight. * It sits very close up to the ceiling so if you have lower ceilings or don't want to block guests' view out a window, this works great. * On full brightness, it is really bright. This is important to me because I use the dining table for all kinds of projects, including sewing. Finding needles and pins by sight rather than feel is pretty important. ... show more
