Oudh 36 Nuit by Al Haramain is---without question, the second strongest perfume in my collection, right next to Nasomatto Black Afgano. The packaging is beautiful, but as others have noted, "sticky". Not a nice way to start off a perfume-buying experience. I wonder if the application of the cellophane causes this issue? Regardless, it's the beautiful and unique bottle and the contained juice that matter most. This is a strong Rose/Oud combination, which has been done often and is a favorite of the middle-eastern perfume houses. The Oud in this juice, while chemically created, is quite assertive and smells authentic. The sillage, which is the "cloud" of scent around you is HUGE. You will be noticed and that may or may not be a good thing. Wearing this in an office environment is not recommended. Regarding longevity: plan on this scent staying around all day and even longer, if you spray your clothing, which I also do NOT recommend. Start off with ONE spray, applied from about 12-15" away. If you are the type of perfume wearer, who adheres to a seasonal requirement for their scents, then this one is better for colder weather. Although, I strongly believe that denizens of Oman and Dubai don't care a wit about what temperature it is when they choose their perfumes. My wife is not a big fan of this, mostly because of the strong rose accord, so I have to be quite judicious when opting for this scent. Price point is fair and this juice will last you a LONG time. I own Oudh 36 Nuit and it’s amazing. I bought a backup bottle through Amazon, as I’ve heard the fragrance is discontinued. I received Oudh 36 Nuit AFGHAN, which is a different fragrance. I was able to get my money refunded, so no complaints there, but be aware of the possibility of a mixup.

I was initially Leary about ordering this parfum because it had rose as one of the ingredients. When I first sprayed it on me I could clearly make out the rose scent, it isn't your grandma's rose though! This scent grows into a deep, serious spicy rose scent. Not my ‘first rodeo’ with the House of Al Haramain. They produce the most AMAZING oils/perfumes/attars. Oud 36 Nuit was shockingly beautiful at first spray. The interplay between he Oud notes and the florals are magical and only improve with time. This is a ‘BEAUTY and BEAST’ of a fragrance that will last for longer than you could hope for yet you always want more! Yes, it’s that good! One spray may be quite enough. This is by far the best smelling and best performing Oud fragrance I own. It is super high quality and the rose is not overpowering like some Oud/Rose colognes. The performance is beast mode for longevity and sillage. And not that it matters but the packaging and bottle are also super high end. Al Haramain makes a high quality product. I prefer Nuit to the regular Oudh 36 — the sweey syrupy rose is still very masculine and couched within a half-feral oud that is rich and lovely.
