First impression bulky container but sturdy, will protect scanner, charge scanner and obd2 adapter update both takes a bit of time but simple to register took 2-3 minutes to register pretty straight forward scanner protector sturdy yet soft to touch nice rubber feeling no slipping problem, comes with screen protector already, buttons are nice and sturdy need a bit pressure good for not pushing buttons by mistake, auto connect to obd 2 connector and auto scan works perfectly try with a Jeep product and had no issues with Gateway i was able to look and data for all the modules that the vehicle has try to actuate couple of functions via scan tool but unfortunately kept receiving communication issues exit BCM and try on engine control module or PCM same there all info was available with the push of a button takes a couple of seconds to access module data but once it access all data its available and readings are live with no lag, but not able to actuate any function with scan tool, will keep trying in other vehicle and update as i use it, try it with VW and connection was faster, gives an option to do coding, i was able to see soot level and last regen event, set to start regen at next driving cycle since its diesel, shows data from gateway module and was able to find dtc that i didnt with a regular scanner, impress for the price will try it more often and update with time ... show more

I have used this OTOFIX scanner on four different vehicles, different makes and models and every function that I used worked great! From the fault code scan to the live data graphs and info. This device loads fast from whenever you turn it on and when you select a function. The screen size is just right and is easy to see even outside in the sun. The Bluetooth OBD2 connector is a win! It connects automatically to the scanner when you plug it in. Being able to take the OTOFIX Scanner with you anywhere around the vehicle is awesome. Setup up was relatively simple, just took some time to download the up to date software for all the manufacturers. Loads of functionality and does a lot for the price. The media could not be loaded. This scanner is awesome. Its size is amazing. Probably about 1 inch thick which makes it very easy to handle. You can register it on AutoAuth to be able to scan Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Auto id’s the vehicle and does a full scan of all the modules. It also lists the common fixes. You can save the report into a pdf print it or email it. While you’re looking at the live data it allows you to change the units of measurements on any individual parameter. This is a great feature because I use both. Overall this is an awesome tool. I have a few scanners all different price ranges and the features this one has for this price is amazing.     • Good Product/ Do not buy from this SELLER.
The product work fine just like it said it would, the features did not quit work with my vehicle so I had to returned it. Today 03/02/2024 just got off the phone with customer service, mind you, this would be the third time I am contacting then, two weeks ago after they had received the product at their warehouse, the told me the the refund is been process, fine. I called again a week later, they told me that it would take 7-10 days to process so I would get my refund by March 1st. so upon checking with my bank I realize there was no refund, So, I called again this morning March 2nd, they told me that because the refund is over $300.00 I is taking a longer time to process and I will now receive received my refund on March 17th 2024. Would you want to put your self through this, especially if you are waiting for that money to buy a different one.? THIS PRODUCT WAS SOLD BY DIAGSHOP. For the price it is hard to beat the OTOFIX Lite, bunch of options in such a little scan tool. However anything to do with live data, mode6, misfire monitor, etc, makes the scan tool very slow. Other than, it is a pretty decent scan tool for the price.
