For reference I'm 150lbs, 5" 3", 40 in hips, 30 inch waist, 34DD. 65 years old. Medium was perfect choice. This dress is so cheery to wear. The quality is excellent and sewn well. It is a bit longer than I like but not a big deal. I love that I can wear with dressy sandals or with my white Keds sneakers. It hides any muffin tops or tummy junk. It cinched in right under bra and to the top of the waistline hiding everything below the belly button. The arm pit openings are perfect fit. Snug without drooping exposing the bra. It even hides my wide strap bra. The coverage is excellent. The fabric is light and airy and not see through. I love that it isn't lined. I hate linings since it adds weight and makes an otherwise cool dress to wear to a sweltering garment in the summer heat. I washed it on cool gentle cycle and dried on delicate cycle until dry. Zero shrinkage and all the packing wrinkles fell right out. Fabric is now softer and wrinkle free. The only thing I don't like is the bow. I feel it makes this lovely dress feel like it is for someone younger. 2 snips of the scissors and it is gone. Much better. Highly recommend. ... show more

The fit of this chambray outfit is true to size, which is fantastic. The color matches what was shown on the website, so no surprises there. But what really stands out is how comfortable it is! The chambray fabric feels great against the skin. I absolutely love it! This outfit is perfect for spring and even early summer. It strikes that balance between style and comfort. I loved the dress, fits TRUE to size, but I returned it because I would rather have a midi, rather than a maxi, especially in summer. If the manufacturer ever sells this dress in a midi, I would absolutely buy it. If you prefer a maxi, this dress is really lovely.

I highly recommend these dresses. I have actually purchased four of them in different colors, and I plan on purchasing more as long as the company keeps their price point at a reasonable rate as they have been doing. This is so smart of them to do this, because they actually sell more of these dresses than the ones that cost so much more. I absolutely will not buy others due to the ridiculous cost. These are made exceptionally well and are just so attractive on me. Every time I wear one I get multiple compliments, even from strangers at the grocery store. I have washed them multiple times on a cool gentle cycle and hung them to dry and they come out perfectly. The buttons are metal and the only part of the dress that I might consider changing, as the metal buttons look kind of cheap on the dark solid colors, but are not even noticeable on the ones with a printed pattern. They can be dressed up with jewelry and a pretty sweater and the material is a nice quality and cool in the summer. I actually will wear some of these as the weather cools down with a warmer sweater and some boots. I haven’t had any problems with the fabric being thin or see through. They are fine in this respect. You need to purchase one of these dresses. You won’t be disappointed. I hope that this company continues to make these and keeps the pricing reasonable, so over time I can purchase more of them in different colors. I would not do this if they hiked the price way up. It would also be nice if they had a long sleeve version of this dress for winter or even more options with short sleeves, instead of sleeveless. Thanks to this dress, I have actually felt beautiful when I wear it and that is such a great feeling. Addendum: I read some other reviews about a seam ripping in this dress. I think if you just carelessly throw this in the washer with other clothes then they will put too much tension on these areas since this dress is longer than most dresses. The material for me is perfect, but lightweight which is great for the summer. If you wash it by itself on a cold water gentle cycle and hang it to dry then it should be fine. I have worn one of mine now at least 20 times and it still looks brand new. I love it so much that I take the extra precautions to keep it perfect. I do fluff it in the dryer by itself to remove any wrinkles before I put it on. ... show more

This is such a cute dress! The fabric is light and airy, making it perfect for spring and summer time, and the color is simply gorgeous. The green plaid is much more pastel in person than it looks online. I’m deducting half a star because I wish the buttons were usable and not merely sewn on, but regardless this is an adorable dress at a great price! Actual rating 4.5 stars. :) ... show more
