I use these two build little toy aquariums for my students as a reward. I charged them up before we use them by placing them on a windowsill for about 36 hours. While they did show some glowing properties, it was not really a strong glow. And some of the colors didn’t really glow at all either. My kids really like these. We put them by the pond out back just for ambience. I’m surprised at how well they work after being outdoors for so long but they work great! They clean easily with soap and water when we’ve had a bad storm. They don’t fade. The color stays true, even after several months.
